A picture has emerged of the jet on the runway.

Worth = what the two parties to a transaction deem acceptable. Sitting on the outside, frankly, it's bizarre to discuss this.
Some people here think Lukaku is "worth" more...and others feel Ronaldo isn't worth more than 30 Mn (I kid you not; this was on the Ronaldo thread).
It's all relative and I don't think professionals like Woodward are in the business of getting bent over and shafted if there are alternatives available.
In the end, if the managers and the club bosses of both sides accept that a fee is "acceptable", that's the worth. Simple as.

PS: Some people don't think it's worth it to spunk money on a Lamborghini, while others would do it without a though. Similarly, I don't think poisoning myself with colas is "worth" even getting paid for, but people actually pay to do it. Who's to argue what's correct? Same principle applies here. It's only worth what the parties to the transaction think it is.

Somebody finally gives Mr. Ed some credit. Some posts can make you wonder if he and Jose have any brain cells at all.

Although his stats from Juve are not seemingly great I remember him being very good there and it was a pitty when Real used their buy-back option for €30M odd to get him back. At the time I felt it as being undervalued. @Bepi @Vialli_92 would you agree?

Without the buy-back, Juve would never ever had a chance to get him, though. Mutual interest, then genuine love, the kid has even married an Italian fashion blogger, he really liked Turin. He needs to be loved to perform, United is a tough environment, so we will see. I hope the best for him and much respect. He is worth 60-70m euros in this market for sure.

So if he is treated like Mkhi and Martial were this season, then he is no good?

This saga misses some slavery comments from Blatter, he had plenty to throw around when it was us standing firm on our price on Ronaldo.

The odious little cretin.

Yeah, you know it's boring when the high points where his nationality and the average length of a honeymoon (that last was brilliant though).

Thrilling as LVG himself is writing the script.

Private jets

Well that kills the one "development" on here today then :)

Until tomorrow friends...

Don't worry though, it's "only June" still.

And some halfwits will tell us the window "doesn't even open" until July 1st, despite transfers always being arranged beforehand for years.

In fairness i should qualify my previous statement. My airport has many many private jets, most in uk. Manchester doesnt have many, but it does get some regularly, they have a private terminal (small) especially for them, so its just not that likely to mean anything...at least not from the capitol of Spain

That's it, imho. Sh*t on a stick football and tough love are not for him. On the other hand, he may do wonder on CL nights, call him bello-di-notte or a moonflower if you like.

I hope we do not do business with Real there spin on everything makes me feel sick, Would much rather our scouts got their act together and found some alternatives.

If there is one man who always get the right strikers. Jose Mourinho is one of them. He signed Anelka, Drogba, Milito, Eto'o, Costa, Zlatan. He knows what kind of strikers he wants to get for his system. I will trust in his choice for no 9 role. Griezmann was his first choice, Morata is his second choice. I hope we don't go 3rd choice, because that's beyond beyond from his best choice.

Agree but Griezmann is quite different to his traditional #9 (incl Morata.)

I suspect he wanted both.

Morata by the numbers:

1. One less goal than Griezmann in la liga last year
2. Scored at 89 mins per goal, second best only behind messi
3. In the top 10 he has the highest % shots on target.
4. Morata achieved those stats playing >1000 minutes less than anyone in the top 10.

He has very little backlift on his right footed shot. Reminds me of a certain Ole Gunner.

But I noticed that he is very right footed?

If he is given a chance, week in, week out like he would under jose, I think he could be an immense striker.

A few of the "smaller" sources like Express and AMP are running it too
I saw it on newsnow and several outlets are carrying the same article, including MEN. No idea where the actual source originates but to be showing up all over drives my hopes up.
