Yep I'd rather have a knackered Carrick than Fellaini. He has no idea how to control tempo like Carrick.
No one in our team does.
Who isn't available for this game?
Who isn't available for this game?
Mmm...crazy feckingChrist, Lindegaard was shite.
Anyway, with home games against Sunderland and Boro after this and a few rivals playing each other this week and over Christmas, this game is crazy fecking important.
Shaw, Bailly & Mkhitaryan I think.
Ok, thanks.Shaw and Bailly.
Anyone think Fellaini will start? If so then for who? Carrick or Herrera?
Massive match this, as the other relevant games are City - Arsenal and Everton - Liverpool. Great opportunity to claw back some points either way.
Fatigue is no excuse for this one, this is their third game in a week as well and we have a much deeper squad. We should be lining up with a high energy, well rested team that will outrun and outlast them.
Valencia/Lingard/Martial/Rooney should all be buzzing for this.
Some were saying Herrera was tired at the end vs Palace, that's why I'm not sure. I still think Carrick will start, to play at least 60 minutes.I don't want him to start, but he will probably start in place of Carrick. At the moment I still have Carrick starting and Fellaini coming on from the bench for Carrick, but again, that's hopeful.
It'd help so much, really. We have a problem of taking our foot of the gas when we score one. I'm not sure if it's tactical and just something mental within the squad but we try to sit on a lead, but if we score really early we'll have no choice but to keep peppering them.Early goal would be a godsend this game. Throw their plan out of the window.
This is our 4th game in 9 days as well as a trip to Ukraine in there.
Out of interest, our last loss was on 03/11/2016.
Since Lucky McLuckerson started making the match day thread, have we lost any games?
We should sub Ibra off this game. Put Martial up front in the last half hour.
Undefeated I believe.
That being said would you accept fatigue as an excuse given our squad depth?
Oh really? My bad I didn't know that. After this game, Ibra will have 8 days rest.
He is one of our fittest players, so why should we sub our most prolific goal scorer, in 3 years?
I'm just saying, our fixture list hasn't been the same as WBA's, as you were saying.
All the big teams have whipped WB so far.
They're solid and all given we're talking about a Pulis team but nothing to fuss about too much.
Some of the things you wrote about us apply to them as well. If we're tired, so are they especially given they have a much older squad than ours like someone mentioned. We've both played 2 games in a short space of time and will both be playing 3 games in 6/7 days.
Miki is the biggest miss injury wise right now but we've managed w/o him in our latest outing. The solid defense that has been going for weeks now is still the same(Valencia is coming back).
We have creativity in our side to deal with organised team, what will be needed mostly once again is ruthlessness in front of goal when we create chances.
You're one of those gullible Internet posters.Martial talked to the press about being left out… That's a no-no, according to the managers book.
What are you doubting, that Martial gave an interview? Or that Mourinho constantly tells the press the players have to keep their mouth shut when left out? You're one of those gullible Internet posters.
Did he say, " I've been left out." or was it along the lines of, " the cnut's left me out."Martial talked to the press about being left out… That's a no-no, according to the managers book.
