    The real key is how we'll look after 20 minutes or so as we always look great early on, but then just deteriorate into garbage.

    The intent should be there for the full 90 minutes.

    I hope Fellaini shows more ability to get around the pitch than he has to date. Wolfsburg counter with real pace. This is one game in which I think the double pivot would have been a good idea.

    Think it shows how stretched we are that Varela is starting tbh. Guy was playing for Real Madrid B last year.

    I trust LVG but carrick played well when he came on vs west ham so I kinda shocked he isn't starting but I assume he will play and with Bastian probable suspension coming maybe LVG thought that carrick is more important for the league will see

    His teams are often attacking on paper. Doesn't matter much when he strangles our play.

    Mcnair or Young ? Hardly stellar either.
     
    That's a balls to the wall line up. Not sure if all 4 forwards and wingers were required there.
