The last couple of seasons i never really fancied us away at Spurs but with this being at Wembley i do, it's essentially a neutral venue. We're not getting beat tonight.

Thank you!!
Someone else sees sense!
Nah, I would start him everytime regardless. Get him back up to speed when he was awesome last season.
A neutral venue that we have much more experience playing in. Not sure that it's entirely neutral - plus we have wany more fans attending.
That's unlikely, but even if it's true, it'll be "we" as in the club, but not the current players. We've probably won as many games at the new Wembley as Spurs have
Think Martial will be dropped for this one. Lingard, Sanchez and Lukaku front three with Herrera in midfield.

Romelu Lukaku has like 4 league goals in his last 15-16 games, which is far from being good enough. Time to really step up his efforts and deliver until the end of the season. Hope he gets one tonight!
Many more fans might be stretching it - it’s filled with tourists getting cheap tickets in London. With this wicked stadium, you only fill it against the famous teams. West Ham (50k), Brighton (47k), Dons (47k), Soton (55k) - pretty low numbers lately. Everton was 76k, but that was on a Saturday. If the stadium fills up tonight, I assume there will be a lot of neutrals and London-tourists, and average person usually come to see United in that case. Wembley will always be more neutral than any other stadium in the league, not that it matters that much - Spurs play here every week (except for cup finals of course).
Yeah but they're Spurs fans.A neutral venue that we have much more experience playing in. Not sure that it's entirely neutral - plus we have wany more fans attending.
Kind of things I hate reading. Lukaku has been scoring consistenly now. And has got us more points than anyone.
I really think you are clutching at straws here.
Why? He obviously hasn’t scored consistently in the league, you can’t deny it. Who cares about a goal against Yeovil when we’re cruising.
Looking at his last 15 games, after the wild start, there’s a loooot of blanks. In his last 15 games, he has not scored in 11 of them... and the goals were against Newcastle, Bournemouth, WBA and Stoke.

We've won 11 times at the new Wembley, Spurs have won there 12 times this season so I wasn't far off (plus add the other 2 or 3 time Spurs have played there in past seasons)
As for splitting we as a club and the current players that opens up to whether those players have experience of playing there for their countries or other clubs. Wembley isn't and will never be a home venue for Spurs
Why does it even matter? Seems to be a pretty pointless debate.
Dont bring the subject up then
I didnt!!

Can we see Martial-Lingard-Sanchez behind Lukaku?
Our front players should really be able to create enough against Spurs but going by previous preformances away against decent opposition, I'm not convinced they will.
Plus Pogba as well, I sure hope so, as it would be mouth wateringly good!!!
Arsenal was good but other than that we haven't been good enough away from home against the other good teams. Lets home we can kill on the counter tonightPlus Pogba as well, I sure hope so, as it would be mouth wateringly good!!!
So Arsenal away wasn't a decent performance??
Plus we didn't have Sanchez for those previous games, so not sure why you are linking previous games with this upcoming one.
Agreed once again. The result tonight doesn't change much in terms of our overall trajectory (it's only one game afterall), but a win would send out a message. Its a damn strong team. Reminds me of how excited I was and how formidable we looked with RvP lining up in the squad. That was the best team since Ronaldo left, and now we have the best team since RvP and SAF's last year
No real weaknesses in it. Only positions I could see being marginally upgraded would be Smalling or Lingard, but I think both have been playing well enough to keep their positions. If Lingard can keep his consistency and Smalling can learn to score on his headers we'd be golden
Wembley or not I was apprehensive about this game until we signed Sanchez, now I think we will beat them .The last couple of seasons i never really fancied us away at Spurs but with this being at Wembley i do, it's essentially a neutral venue. We're not getting beat tonight.

Honestly, a 4-2-3-1 with Lingard as #10, not seeing it happening. It would be very untypical of Mourinho to go toe to toe away against a top team.
I'm more and more convinced you're a bot replying anytime anyone mentions Lingard (or even doesn't mention him at all)! Your phrasing seems like the current state of artificial intelligence now, too.Lets seek what happens, I hope that we play our best side, as it would be great to see us really do well tonight.
