Blackett could cement his place in our team with continued good performances. Rubbish. Blackett perhaps. All others would easily get into most teams in the Prem. Yes, even Cleverley.Defence and midfield wouldn't look out of place playing for Sunderland.Van Persie and Valencia will make a BIG difference. I'd expect Welbeck to come on after 60 minutes to freshen things up.
Midfield should be fine. Fletcher is still an excellent midfielder, he just needs a week to recover between matches. Cleverley didn't put a foot wrong in preseason either.- Status
