Only had Adnan starting over young, but I guess Young is more suited to the wing back role. Midfield doesn't strike me with confidence and defence isn't to much better. Nope. As I said it's down to De Gea and the front 3 to win or loose the game for us today.It's just so depressing that our midfielders and defenders are injured. Look at our attacking options, wouldn't shock me if van Persie, Hernandez, Kagawa are injured because we still have Rooney, Mata, Januzaj and Welbeck to beat Sunderland. But Carrick, Herrera, Shaw and Rafael (and Rojo still not here) and our defence and midfield looks like a joke. I hope we sign a midfielder and a defender till the window closes, but our injury record needs to get better, hope we can do anything, can't be only bad luck
Just win this game today, a crappy 2-1 win with 2 van Persie goals would be enough, just 3 points and hopefully more options for the next game.Disappointed there is no Januzaj.

Remember a couple of years ago when most people on the caf thought Cleverly was the future of our midfield? I seem to recall him being out injured and people were desperate for him to return and save us. Wierd.Don't see us losing this game, but that doesn't mean we'll win it... Have to echo the worry of the central midfield and defence, but if our attack is on song we should outscore them if the game is "you have a shot, we have a shot".Our wing back (Valencia and Young) will be vital if we're going to get some joy today, because Sunderland will stifle the middle. I would also like to see Rooney and Van Persie to peel out wide to stretch Sunderland.
