I'd like us to go with..

    -------------------Martial
    Depay---------Rooney--------Young
    ---Schneiderlin Schweinsteiger
    Rojo Blind Smalling Darmian
    --------------------De Gea

Not sure about playing Mata away from home as he's had a couple of average performances recently, also don't want to see Blind play left back against Mane.

Koeman, like Monk, seems to have a handle on LvG. I'm surprised more managers don't given the one dimensional way he sets up his teams. So difficult to break down but some teams just have a knack of doing it.
0-0 at half time and first team to score in the 2nd half will win 2-1. I'd wager the Saints will win this with about 35% possession.

Now we have a chance to close the gap and open up a small gap on Arsenal. Please win lads. We beat them 2-1 last season but we were pretty poor, Van Persie aside.

I hope it's not another game where we go 0-1 miss a couple opportunities, concede 2 goals then fall to a 2-1 defeat.

This is a big one.. a real need to win match
We've already failed once at swansea when our rivals stumbled
    these chances won't keep coming
Tomorrow really needs a big performance ... and i'm as nervous as %¨+£

Everyone will be looking at Memphis and Martial, then Rooney is going to bag a brace from the hole and shut everyone up.

Absolutely need to win this, Rooney behind Martial, play Blind at LB, Carrick is a must and unleash Schneiderlin, don't care how we play BUT 3 points are crucial...come on you reds.

Haha yeah me too. We gotta win this. See how City does with us breathing down their necks. :D:D

A win tomorrow would be massive for us now City have dropped points. I doubt they will drop that many this season so we really do need to win our game in hand and make the most of it. I'm worried how we will cope with reshuffling the defence now we are without Shaw, hopefully we will see a good performance and result for him to lift everyone after the awful PSV game.

We need to score early, need a bit of luck. But I think United will definitely win, and possibly with some to spare. The team will be playing for Luke, for the manager, Roo back, hopefully and maybe that bit of passion that was missing will be rediscovered. Come the feeck on, United!

    I hope we play.....

    -------------------------------DDG--------------------------------
    Darmian-------------Smalling-------Blind-----------------Rojo
    ----------------------Carrick------------Schneiderlein-----------
    ---------------------------------Herrera---------------------------
    Martial------------------------------------------------------Memphis
    ---------------------------------Rooney-------------------------------

we need a win and dedicate it to our Luke

    3-1 United

Well he needs to get in form soon. Apart from a good game v Brugge he's been toothless so far this season.

City result and the last defeat hopefully really get our boys going for this.

If we can get a good result, get the gap down to 2 points we'll be in a great place.

Especially with Arsenal and Everton away, and City home looming the other side of Sunderland home.

Gone for Carrick and Morgan in CM with Basti being rested. Surely due a break some time.

    ------------de gea-----------
    -----smalling-----blind------
    Darmian---------------Young
    ----Carrick--schneiderlin----
    Valencia--Rooney--Memphis
    ------------Martial------------

First goal important in this one, whoever gets it will win.

City drop points, we need to take advantage of it. It won't come about very often so it needs to be done. 3 points is vital tomorrow, especially given we have some horrid fixtures coming up so a good start will be fantastic.

Hopefully we see a Rooney behind Martial. I have high hopes for that partnership to blossom, especially with Memphis lurking around them.

Reckon it'll be a dull affair tomorrow with maybe the 1-0 to either team. Hopefully that's us on the winning side.

Not been the case with us of late. We do still tend to respond well after a defeat so that's promising.

Winning this is a must if we want to mount a serious title challenge. Have to take advantage of City's feck up.

Can't be arsed to try and second-guess LVG this week, so I'm going for what I want to see, which is this:

    DDG
    Darmian Smalling Blind Rojo
    Schneid Schwein
    Young Herrera Depay
    Martial

Romero Jones Carrick Mata Fellaini Wilson

Need to take advantage with City dropping points yesterday. Two points behind if we win and we haven't even been playing great.

I've never been more certain we're going to lose a game. I literally have 0% confidence in us winning tomorrow. City dropping points just means we're bound to lose.

It'll be exactly like Swansea. Lots of possession, no penetration, then bang they'll hit us on the break.

That's the spirit. Not like you to be negative.

'Looks to see if he predicted 3-0 to arsenal and a 3-0 defeat for tottenham'
    :nono::D No i don't think i am.

What i mean is utd need to make sure they don't fall behind, haven't been the best at coming from a goal down this season.
    We've only been behind once?

You're almost a parody at this stage.

we've only conceded first against brugge in the cl qualifying, we won that game as well.

Oh look, I make a negative post and look who's jumping on my back. What a surprise

Funny how you ignored all the positive posts I made after the PSV match, even though we lost. I guess they don't count though? I mean, they don't fit the agenda so they must be ignored.

Yea, I'm inventing an agenda, clearly that's what's going on.

We could really use a high scoring win to cement that second place on merit, and to make sure Manchester City have one eye looking behind them. Over optimistic perhaps, but I've predicted a 1-4 win for us and I expect LvG to deliver it.

We lost a lot of games last year like this, when our rivals messed up and we had a chance to capitalise. Hopefully this year is different. I'd like to see the following, but expect Young to play instead of Herrera or Mata, maybe Martial. Would be nice to see some Pereira too.

    -----------------DDG
    Valencia-Smalling-Blind-Darmian
    ---Schneiderlin-Schweinsteiger
    Memphis---Herrera/Mata------Martial
    -----------------Rooney
