Agains too slow and ponderous when builiding up. Back four seems to have no options. Midfield too deep, which means there's a massive gap between them and our our front four.

Rooney has to drop very deep to get involved in the game. Ideally, like Neville said, he should be finding pockets behind Wanyama and Romeu, but when he does that it means theres no link between midfield and attack. Maybe Mata needs to drift in more and take the position of the 10 if we want Rooney to play higher up. Thats what we started to do at the end of first half.

Mata's been coming of the wing and trying to link things up.
