    Cant see Ugarte starting, i fully expect to see Casemiro start alongside Mainoo. Do think he'll take the plunge and drop Rashford though, think it'll be Amad right and Garnacho left...

    I don't think that is gonna happen. Rashy didn't have an international game. Garnacho travelled to play for Argentina.

    Besides ETH dropped Rashy way way late last season. Think he will repeat that.

    Amad has been away with Ivory Coast as well hasn't he, so Rashford the only one that's been around.
     
    Ugarte has to start. ETH is out of time and can't possibly keep Casemiro in the starting XI. Rashford should be benched, but ETH doesn't have the courage to do it. If he hasn't already, he's going to lose a lot of support both inside and outside of the club if he losses this match.
     
    Can we take another week off ? I’ve enjoyed the last week unbeaten

    Ya he has minutes under his belt from Uruguay, and casemiro is off the back of a disaster. I don't see why we shouldn't start him then sub off if he's struggling later in game with fitness. He had a busy summer with copa too it's not like he's been months out
     
    Should be 3 points this anything else will be a massive let down

    I mean, we did lead from the 3rd minute, extend to 2-0 early in the second half and beat them on xG, so it wasn’t some fluke result. The problem is we only had 2-3 fairly comfortable wins like that all season.

    He shouldn’t still be here but having stuck with him over the summer the ownership cant turn round and sack him after four games, so we are probably stuck with him until December at least

    Surely him not playing internationals means he’s guaranteed starter whilst the likes of Garnacho/ Amad would likely get some time off having travellled.

    Rashford/ Antony should be in training all week basically going over the threats and what is needed of them.

    But if we don’t win this game things will only heat up and get tougher. This is the most winnable game out of the next 3. So lose this one and I think we lose all 3. We need something to click and start gelling together. A run of games with a consistent team should help.

    'Just watch once Ugarte gets up to speed' is the new 'just you wait till Martinez gets back, you'll all be begging for mercy'.

    That'll buy ETH enough time.

    Garnacho will have crossed time zones but Amad won't have (Chad is the same time as the UK). No jet lag.
     
    I hate to predict this but United will struggle, be this united is lack lustre, they pass the ball sideways a lot, run offside a lot and maybe nick a 1-1 draw don’t see us wining,

    TenHag Ball is just super depressing he’s had 16 losses in last 40 PL matches that’s a 40% loss rate, I just think we should get rid of him and put RVN in and have a coach who wants and thinks he’s a number 1 start fresh, if Ineos are serious any loss in next 3 EPL game should result in his instant sacking, we’ve saved enough money in wages to pay him off for 2 seasons.

    ETH is FoS and it’s time to do just put him out of his misery!

    Don't think Hojlund is close to starting at all. Recent comments suggest the club won't rush him back etc.

    I agree Ugarte sub appearance as Ten Hag seems to like that. Agree that it'll be for Mainoo and not Casemiro. I doubt he'll drop Rashford, so I think Rashford / Amad on the wings.

    Couple of players will be coming back from good internationals with confidence high, and a new presence should give a lift, I see no reason to not start Ugarte and take him off at 60 if his fitness isnt up to scratch.

    I think we might click a bit in this game and win 0-3, with absolutely no promise that anything good will survive a week.
     
    Southampton are now a possession based team which, I would wager, pass the better than us. Not sure what rabbit ETH is going to pull out of the hat to win comprehensively but I suspect we may sneak a narrow win or draw. It's not good enough but that's what we are now reduced to...scraps!
     
    No way can we rush in Hojland or Shaw, really wonder what they’ll do with Ugarte. The fact he went on international duty is insane at first thought but the fact he got minutes is good.

    I don't really see how Casemiro can start after his last game. He's got work to do, to be diplomatic. And with Ugarte getting about 170 competitive minutes in his legs I would think he'd be deemed ready to play for us. If he isn't, I'd much rather have Collyer out there for this one.

    Agreed on Shaw and Hojlund. Honestly, I doubt we see either this month.

    Sadly I see the same lineup vs Liverpool starting, Cas will most likely start, hoping Ugarte comes in after an hour.

    I also think he'll bench Amad and play Garna RW.

    I think the opposite will happen. Rashford will start, because Erik loudly defended him after Liverpool game, and Rashford did create the rare two chances in that game. So he 90% starts again.

    As for Casemiro, him being subbed at half-time and Ugarte playing great during international break makes it very hard for Erik to keep claiming that Ugarte is not ready, and he is the new signing we payed shitton of money for. It will be insane to not start Ugarte, all things considered. It's not like Erik has not made unsane squad selections in the past, even often, but I would say odds are still on Ugarte starting

    Yeah agree with Rashford. Whilst I would prefer Garnacho to start over him, realistically Rashford created the best two chances of the game and Garnacho hasn't exactly put in "Rashford must be dropped" performances so far (apart from maybe City). I think Amad has to start though.

    In EtH fashion I reckon Ugarte will be on the bench, however, if he is truly done with Casemiro then there is a chance he'll start. Either way I expect the same team as v Pool but with Amad starting.

    Rashford has also been our best winger (by some distance) in all three league games this season. It would be truly bizarre management to decide that this was the point to drop him.

    Agree Ugarte is likely to start.

    Yes, EtH definitely would delay Ugarte starting to infuriating extreme if he were not under pressure. Having lost two out of three first games, one of them to Liverpool 3-0 will hopefully force him to get over his hesitation and start his only new hope in Ugarte
