    I'll lose a little faith in Ole if Greenwood doesn't start, only because he keeps going on and on how Greenwood is one of his attackers. If he doesn't get the chance now, then it's an even bigger blunder to have let Lukaku go without bringing a replacement in.

    Ha, you're probably right and to be honest I do give my fair share of doom so I'm also guilty but it is such a predictable place on here. I have never ignored more members (and been ignored by) over this past year.

    As for today I am praying for a win regardless of who Ole picks. We have some really tough games after the international break.

    Dreamt we were 4-0 down after 30 mins but oddly the score was displayed Manchester United 0-4 Southampton but it was at St Mary's.

    Anyway, think a win is crucial and the doubt might set in if we can't get all 3 points. We have to put the end of last season away with a good win and show we're top 6 in class.

    I agree especially with mata not playing, just too slow, Chelsea got rid for a reason, ffs. Start playing the young lads for at least half the game.
    There will come a time where the young lads will have to play as our squad is still devoid of much talent, so start to get them used to the rough and tumble now.
     
    I had a weird, vague dream about this game this morning. I was actually playing for us, the pitch was fecking horrific (ike sunday league standard) and I was extremely angry with Dan James because his control was making Lukaku like like Dimitar Berbatov. Can't remember the score.

    Anyway, 1-1 for me, if we win I'd say 1-2 United. Rashy to score our goal.

    Decided going to spend less time on here for that very reason. It's a side of supporting Utd that I don't need, it's depressing enough when we lose and I'd rather not read about faceless fans personally insulting other faceless fans cause they share the same opinion.
    The place is bi polar and fair weathered....
     
    Who's form is worse going back 15 or so games, us or Spurs? And why does it matter?

    Even if we were playing like the Brazil 1970 team, we’d still have people moaning. People on here just seem to want to have a meltdown all the time for the sake of having one.

    I disagree. When people make claims like we won't finish top 4 they often fail to look at anywhere else other than at ourselves, like they assume our rivals are all playing at a 2010 Barcelona level. It's very relevant to compare our form with those of the sides around us

    Well that's one opinion and a valid one I concur.

    However, looking at rivals' form is only relevant if we're looking at the whole picture. Spurs' form is improving as an example but Chelsea, who many would have said have not kicked on, win trophy after trophy. We could say that Spurs is where we want to be at or is it Liverpool and City? The latter teams are presently unattainable-it's going to take a couple of years to bridge the gap. Look at the criticism Moyes got approaching the derby game when he stated, " They're where we want to be," instead of improving Utd's style of play.

    By all accounts his performance for the rest of the game was poor.

    He'd need good experienced players around him. The 1st team will provide that but don't expect him to be pulling up trees if he does appear soon. He'll need nurturing
