haha misread completely! Didn't think I'd live to see that as an option! How far we have fallen

5-0 to either team is always an option, it's the max option in fact. So when people rage vote and vote out of spite to demonstrate their displeasure with United, they'll pick the max possible defeat, which is 5-0.

I am however confident we can manage a 1-1 against this lot.

This is the team I'd like to see. Lingard playing at RB isn't too far fetched given he played as a RWB not too long ago. Pereira I think would thrive in CM as a 8 with a holding player alongside him and it's time to give Keane a chance otherwise why bother recalling him from loan?

I think we're missing the important issues here. Such as: is that really Shrewsbury's badge? Looks like a 5 year old tried to draw Mick Hucknall.

I'm pretty deflated and negative about our results, but I have predicted a win: 2-1. I genuinely believe we can win this game.
Of course, I should add that I thought we could draw against Midgetland...and that didn't quite work out.

    Here are the facts:
MUFC have lost the last 2 games against lowly ranked opposition. Our team is mentally weak and the manager has clearly checked out and is merely counting down the days till he retires.
Shrewsbury (their last 3 game results: WDL). They are League 1 side, so vs a EPL side, should be an easy win for the EPL team.

...logically, I see either a draw or a win for us. I can't see us losing.

not confident scrappy win probably. 1-0 or 2-1. There are certain players there who should be dropped after their showing against midtllylland Mata Herrera McNair to name 3. We need to give Pereria a chance surely, we don't want another Pogba situation on our hands.

    Romero

    Fosu Mensah blind Mike Bj

    Schneiderlin carrick Pereria

    Memphis Keane Martial

Subs: lingard, Mata, Herrera, McNair, Henderson, weir

Got a lot of injuries, but we need couldn't ask for much of a kinder fixture to get into the quarter finals.

Then West Ham at home, with no Tottenham, Leicester, Liverpool or City about in the draw.

We need to keep this ticking over as a shining beacon in the season!

We're bad but surely we'll get through this one, same on Thursday as well, and Louis will once again be King.

Best chance of a trophy. A lot of the big teams are out. Problem is, any old team can beat us these days.

We could still win the FA cup and Europa cup and then be in the champions league next year, there is a lot to play for and were due to win the FA cup.

We need to somehow find a way to not be crap and it should be a easy win.

Martial deserves a rest, fecking hell!

He'll end up like Michael Owen at this bloody rate.

Just can not afford to lose tomorrow, the meltdown will be of apocalyptic proportions if that happens. If the team can get their act together they should be fine and get a good result there.

Meltdown will only occur if Van Gaal is still in a job, I imagine many of us are prepared for the worst :(

If we lose, I am expecting this at OT not long later.

Should go with this. Solid defence and midfield against lower league opposition. Keane and pereira will have a good understanding having played together so much. Martial is deadly on the wing too and will create space by them marking him more

Didn't Keane start for the U21s on Sat?

    Romero
    McNair-Smalling-Blind-CBJ
    ----Schneiderlin-Herrera---
    Lingard--Perreira--Memphis
    ---------------Martial--------------
Is what I think we'll see, and no I am not looking forward to it.

    Welcome back from 2011

This should be the match which will once again save LvG's job and push him towards summer.

Daily Star as sacked him once again .If he loses today.Think they and some on here will be disappointed. 2-0 United.
