    if i'm a bookie making my own odds, i honestly would favour shrewsbury to win sooner than united. that said, a draw is perhaps the most likeliest option. something like 1-1.

    This season I've become used to dreading our games, but things have gotten so bad I'm just apathetic now. I'm almost curious as to how far we're going to fall before something happens. These few horrendous (hopefully just a few) post-Fergie years will be remembered as a historic period for our club. Quite bemusing, when you stop to really think about it.

    I've reached a new low with United and just can't get fired up about this match. Genuinely expecting us to scrape a narrow win but another defeat wouldn't at all be a shocker. The players have looked gutted for most of the season.

    Until we sack the manager we'll continue to look like a sack of shit.

    I hate the international break but now can't wait for the next one, whenever it may be. I'll know we aren't playing so I can sleep easy without worrying about an embarrassing performance.
     
    Why is 5-0 to Shrewsbury even a possible prediction? That's not going to happen.
     
    I think I probably the only one who is willing to play 3 in the back due of the fact that we don't have anymore right back. I'm assuming CBJ is back from illness.

    Have you not noticed every single match for the past however many years predictions have been going on here have had 5 goals either side as a possibility?
     
    I genuinely think they will knock us out with a 1-0.

    You should believe it we lost to fecking Middlesborough, not to mention a team that barely any of us had even heard of who hadn't played a match in two months and lost 3 out of their last 6 league games in the bloody Norwegian league or something.

    Perhaps piss is the incorrect term. I think we will probably scrape a win, but it'll be a shitty performance of course.

    I secretly hope we lose, because there is no way we can lose to Bournemouth, Shrewsbury Town, Middlesborough, Sunderland and some random european club without someone taking action. Then again, this is Manchester United.

    So we play away to Shrewsbury on Monday evening and then play the Sisto and Co. on the 25th ? I thought the FA cup game might move to Sunday, not that it makes much difference anyways.

    United have got to win this. Weak team or not, this has to a victory. But I hardly expect a thrashing. We'll probably limp over the line or god forbid, get a replay.

    I've seen Shrewsbury play at home and they can be woeful. That said, 'magic of the cup' etc, they could turn up and give us a scare. If they put everyone behind the ball, they've got some pace in attack and we know how well we deal with that tactic. We need a goal in the first ten minutes and I'd be confident of the win then.
