Death or the gladioli!

are you high?
Gut call but I think playing Rooney today makes him a lock for Leicester on Saturday. Why else play him. This is a chance for him to bang in some goals against a weaker side, gain some confidence ...
NORTHAMPTON'S STARTING XI
Northampton have named their team via their Twitter account it features United's former Academy player Kenji Gorre.
What start do you mean?
He is playing today, just as he has every game this season (except Feyenoord).
Yes and he'll be "rested" at the weekend imo. The start of him being phased out of the starting 11 gradually.
A strange interpretation mate.
This is clearly Jose being very cute indeed.
Pitching it to Rooney as needing his "leadership" after our bad run of form, when really giving him more rope to hang himself. As if you cannot do it against league 1, you really shouldn't be near our club,
And however it goes tonight, he will need to "rest" him for Saturday, a game which being a 12.45 is very close.
No I just think anything is possible with Potato head. He always manages to worm his way back to the top somehow.
Yeah sure.Rooney playing is good. Means he's not first choice while the others are rested. Midfield looks really negative though. Was hoping Mata would start in front of Schneiderlin, maybe he'll play on the weekend though? Should win easily of course, but it's clearly just a rotated 11.
Rooneys reddit accountMost the line up was leaked yesterday.

Classic LVG side.
I got 7/11.

http://www.telegraph.co.uk/football...nager-jose-mourinhos-criticism-of-players-na/Sorry I've been living under a rock for the past week. What leak?
I agree it looks like this is Jose's subtle way of getting Rooney out of the side but I will only believe it when I see it. I have thought many times before there's no way Rooney can start and there his name is on the next team sheet and I wouldn't be at all surprised if the same thing happens on Saturday. I will be celebrating and have complete faith in Jose if what you suspect is true and Rooney is dropped for Leicester.
I think LVG may have emailed Jose this starting line up
It doesn't even make sense

Yeah Tv2 had it until this season but haven't bought the new rights. They're in a mess so might be why they didn't.That's weird. Did TV2 used to have it? Here in Sweden we have Viasat who has PL, League Cup, FA Cup, Championship as well as CL.
I had a sneaky suspicion we would see Rooney tonight, makes it easier to drop him against Leicester.
Memphis needs to impress tonight, it's a big game for him and a few others to stake a claim in the team whilst the normal first XI are failing to get results.
Or maybe the manager thinks that this game is perfect for him to get a goal or to and get some confidence back.Rooney is literally the only player in that front 6 that's part of our first 11. Call me crazy but that's as good as confirmation that he's been dropped.
He will be too eager as usual I'm afraid. He need to be calm and focus on the basics firstMemphis needs to impress tonight, it's a big game for him and a few others to stake a claim in the team whilst the normal first XI are failing to get results.
Rooney himself knows he can't do a good job there anymore, so it feels like one last trial, and if he can't boss a league 1 backline than it really is hard to argue he should start in the premier league.
Rooney being crap has nothing to do with lack of confidence. He's just crap.Or maybe the manager thinks that this game is perfect for him to get a goal or to and get some confidence back.
