Bruno and Rashford have been shocking, lost the ball every time they’ve had it. Ronaldo and Greenwood not much better. Midfield two still awful and cause more issues than they solve and Maguire‘s form is rock bottom. I’ll let Varane off hoping it’s just rusty touches after a long break.

It’s the end of Ole ball, really. Rangnick is in the job a month and a half that’s been disrupted by Covid. It’s still Ole’s squad, with all of the downsides we all know about.Sat at home here with a couple of nice beers and just can't make sense of our "gameplan".

You do know he is not playing as a striker or he was so non existent that you didnt noticeI can’t see us getting top four using this formationI like the passing into the final third. Much faster and sharper today but its what we're doing in the final third that has cost us.
Wrong decisions and a lack of actual passing ability from the midfielders have missed out on putting Ronaldo/Greenwood/Rashford through on goal.
Sancho and VdB are the only ones who can actually pass a ball so get them on.Fred and rashford were very poor, horrible mistake from varane for the goal great finish from saint-maximun though.
Plenty of intensity, pressure and tempo from us which is good to see just not quite putting it together, final ball/touch letting us down.
I would look to change v.d.b for fred and sancho for rashford if not at half time by 60 mins if there hasn't been a big performance improvement.The players just aren't good
I thought we looked quite secure defensively, especially against palace. seemed like mcfred got caught out of position far less. today we look much more gung ho with the press, but the press is so selectively passive that newcastle have time to pick their passes to the front playersThe passing has been so bad because the players are being asked to play the ball forward and it's exposing the lack of ability in the likes of McTominay, Fred and Rashford plus Ronaldo's lack of mobilityBruno, Rashford and Ronaldo whining too much for my liking.

don’t agree. Width would open up space in my view and give us more opportunities, playing so narrow isn’t helping In my view.Ive said a bunch of times our squad is mostly good on paper. Proclaiming them a squad good enough to win the league is ridiculous.
