    sorry was a jokey reference to (one of the reasons) why Newcastle hate us.

    Sir Alex said that about Leeds when we were in a title race with Newcastle and they were about to play Newcastle and it caused Kevin Keegan to have a meltdown. Called Leeds game raisers and would go easy on Newcastle, and were cheating the manager.

    It's tumescent stuff, but the squad dealt with COVID issues and had a long lay-off. Top 4 will be a massive battle unfortunately.

    That said, some of the sequences of play that we end up doing are mind-boggling to watch.

    We need to get in Ten Hag during the summer. We need to become way better in possession.
     
    What's happened to the press like against Palace? We've just given up on that after one game?

    we had a long time to prep for today, playing a terrible team with a near full panel. are you really going to say the performance isn't on RR, but ole who left him with a squad people said should win the title this year

    Yeah I feel the same too. At least I could see he's with the ball trying to do something. While I can't say the same about Greenwood, Bruno and Ronaldo.

    Is the physical rest not enough in this busy period? You'd expect a bit more gas that what we've seen, at least.

    Players partly to blame but the formation and coaching are also a big issue.

    Given the limited time ralf has it would seem to make a lot more sense to use a 433 or 4231 which the players might be vaguely familiar with.

    4222 also puts more pressure on mcfred to make difficult passes, exposes our centre backs because the full backs need to provide the width, hinders the attack by forcing play through a narrow part of the pitch.

    He is also using rashford on the right which it wouldnt take much analysis of past performance to prove a stupid decision

    I prefer when someone kicks me because at least the pain makes sense in a way. I did my knee all alone years ago, no near me.
    I remember seeing Kevin Durant doing his achilles all alone basically too. I hate watching stuff like that
     
    Even if you put two better midfielders in, the shape isn’t suited to anybody, we need new players but Ralf needs to sort this shite out quickly. If we’re rubbish until the end of the season, will we still be happy to let this fella pick our next manager? :lol:
     
    Quick thoughts, wtf is Rashford doing other than lack of control and running into players, Greenwood was basically invisible . Of the 2 midfield players, McTom needs a rocket and Fred at least tries to get involved.

    Dont understand why Sancho isnt playing on the right,showed form in the last couple of games and then not picked.
