Yeah, how mad of me to blame the transfer fees you decided to use as a point of contention on... the team responsible for identifying players and negotiating their transfer fees.

    What am I like, eh?

Look if you want to buy the most modern Ferrari around then you'll have to pay the price for it. No one will be able to drive the price down as if you're buying a Fiat Punto. Ole's administration went for known and 'proven' players and we paid the price for it. Now we're reaping the benefits of that.

Trying to forget this Newcastle mob have won ONE league game in half a season so far!
Conceding 41 in the process, and we haven't laid a glove on them.

I’m not shitting on Ralf as I wanted Ole out for years but what is he trying to do exactly and what happened to that press we showed in first half of his first game. I agree with Neville, no positives and these players are a disgrace but I’m still struggling to see what we are trying to do. It looks like the same shite but with more confusing positioning?

We don't have any tempo, a bit of half-arsed pressing but nowhere near the effort we've seen before (or we're seeing from Newcastle tonight).

The rest I agree with, some of the players were rattled by the atmosphere to start with, and as we've acclimatised we've desperately lacked some quality.

Was talking more about the passing then pressing.
Not playing well, so a CB or midfielder or playmaker needs to slow things down for a few minutes. Every time they've got the ball, it's been a direct attack, mostly ending in failure. 1-2s, quick vertical pass, through ball, or into-the-channel every time.

The passing has been so bad because the players are being asked to play the ball forward and it's exposing the lack of ability in the likes of McTominay, Fred and Rashford plus Ronaldo's lack of mobility
he should ask the players to play passes in whatever way wins us games of football

Laughing at those that thought an Ole replacement would be a greener pasture.

That said, we’ll still win it
Nobody thought a change would happen this fast, you’re talking about game 3?
im laughing at people who thought Ole should of stayed in place

I'm glad the pundits spotted the same thing as me at the goal - just what the very f%ck was Maguire doing taking a huge step in one direction? he's a total nightmare

Carragher is a fecking cnut btw.
He adds nothing that isn’t obvious. Grinning, Spitting prick.

This is the team that we are currently losing to....2 wins in 20!!

We better turn it around second half. It's embarrassing!

Carragher and that presenter are absolutely loving how shit we are! Not very professional mind

Ronaldo and McTominay have been appalling. Don't really have much more to add.

Rashford probably our best player. Most if the stuff he has tried hasn't come off. But he's the only player on the pitch looking to create.
    :wenger:

16 days we have waited for this rubbish!

Been mostly dreadful in that first half & made relegation haunted Newcastle of 2021 look like prime Keegan team of the mid 90s.

Must up their game in the second half.

Won’t happen then going by the amount of times I’ve said that over the past couple of years.
True. ‘Let’s give the players that got us into this mess a chance of redemption’. As if they didn’t just waste 45 fecking minutes.

What's happened to the press like against Palace? We've just given up on that after one game?

This system also just doesn't suit our players at all. 4-3-3 please Ralf.

I think the palace game was more of a case of them not knowing how we would line up tactically. Viera admitted it himself. But by half time they cottoned on which is why palace took back some control. Don't forget, they were an Ayew sitter away from going 1-0 in front!

It was always going to be a rough transition.

Conte is going to make this club look so bad for passing on him in the next few weeks and months.

Rashford will score. He always seems to when he has a stinker.

Our players can't pass the ball. They can't perform the most basic function of a footballer. How many managers will it take for them to pass the ball towards a teammate with proper weight behind it? It's baffling.

The goal was comical. Varane is clearly rushed back due to Lindelof's covid, Maguire and Dalot hilariously allowed ASM to get on his right and DDG doesn't even dive because it was a scuffed shot that was placed perfectly.

I will say one thing that our tactics are clear-primarily attack through the right side, give Rashford and Dalot the ball for them to cross to Ronaldo. Secondarily attack through the middle, play quick passes on the ground with one-twos when we can. But the execution isn't there at all. The midfield is too slow at getting the ball to the forwards. McT and Fred take so many touches to make their mind up it destroys all momentum. But at least McT has made some forward passes, Fred has made none.

We need players who can pass. Get Sancho on at the very least. I'd put VdB on for Fred too as Fred hasn't really been good defensively either.

Doesnt look like Ragnick is a good fit for this group of overated players with big egos.

We don't need two CDMs against this trash.

We're one nil down and need to play faster passes from the middle.

Me too. Bunch of turncoats who turn performances on and off like a tap at their own discretion. They're all a bunch of overpaid, spineless cowards.

They are, and the trouble is they're not held to account. They can doss around the pitch, yet still be picked next game and earn their obscene wages, while the fans, who pay to watch them are made to suffer their "performances". The fans are the only ones who care. The players, bar perhaps a couple, don't give a rats arse provided they pocket their excessive wages each week.

I don't think anyone has played even half decent. Not a single player.

Even if Cavani comes on and scores isn't that actually more of a problem that a player we rely on is likely off to Barcelona in a couple weeks?

We look shocking out there. Easily the worst half under Rangnick so far.

The defense has been unbelievably shaky with Varane and Maguire having multiple brainfarts between them. Going forward hasn't been much better. No obvious mistakes but too mnay players just being anonymous. Overall we look totally devoid of creativity or ideas.

    Out of 5 halves?!

The only time we’ve looked like creating any sort of chance has been from out wide. Why United are continually playing through a congested middle is beyond me. We have some really fast players- let’s use that pace!

Could do with the 5 sub rule coming back mid game.

The front 4 could do with a reality check. Neville 100% laying into them all, but not worth namedropping a global superstar or the UKs greatest politician on Sky.
