You can guarantee Rashford's not actually fit to be involved but as always he's playing through the pain for us

    Squad at the Lowery.
Henderson, Bishop, Grant; Wan-Bissaka, Williams, Tuanzebe, Lindelof, Maguire, Bailly, Telles, Shaw; Matic, McTominay, Fred, Fernandes; James, Rashford, Shoretire, Amad, Greenwood

Didn't think that was the case anymore, I read he didn't play the other day as he was a possibility to be involved today.
I thought he was still injured. Maybe you are right. I would have tried to involve him then. At least he is different.

is it? Be interesting to see what others think to this. I'd rather win today (and draw 2-2 on Thursday haha)
Interesting debate actually, what’s more important, 3 points today or qualifying for last 8?

I’m not actually sure you know.

The team picks itself at the minute.
Hendo, AWB,Lindelof, Maguire, Fred, McTom,Bruno, James, Greenwood and a one-legged Rashford.

Would be tempted to stick with James Greenwood and Amad and bring Rashford on if needed agasint a more tired West Ham to avoid injury. It's going to be hard fought early on. Let the young guns run them ragged for a bit.

A trophy a trophy is more important.
Agreed, but you could argue going through to last 8 will further fatigue an already tired side that has injuries which could lead to no trophies and no top 4.

I do agree though I’d rather qualify against Milan than win against West Ham if you stick a gun against my head (just playing devils advocate).

Well then you can argue that about any cup run.

If we where so worried about injuries Ole should have rested more win the second game versus Sociedad.

It's the Europa League. It's not very important. The standards are definitely low if we're giving a shit about the Europa League.

    It's West Ham.....

What's better 2nd no trophy or Europa League.

Europa League is. Plus it'll get us a higher seed in the pots for CL

We haven't won a trophy in years. Football is about winning trophies. 2nd 3rd 4th mean feck all.

Coming second and closer to the champions than last year would be a bigger milestone for this team and a greater indication of future success then winning the Europa.

It's not an important trophy at all. I was hardly jumping around the place when we beat Ajax that time.

Better beating Ajax than coming second with 81 points the season after.

And we aren't going to reach 81 points this season.

A trophy will always be more important than which position you come between 2nd 3rd 4th.

One thing to toss off Europa if you're chasing the title, but when all you're looking at as an alternative is the top 4 trophy? Yeah think you take it seriously, because why not? We should be finishing 2nd and winning it.

Exactly. Hell if I had to pick I'd rather finish 3rd or 4th and win Europa or the FA Cup than come 2nd.

Exactly. Look at the other divisions, people only remember the champions and the play off winners, nobody remembers who finished second.

Well who actually cares if we end up 2nd 15 points behind city or 16 points third behind city or Leicester, what is the difference. Let the player recover and test our brilliant squad players. Also we should easily beat that poor AC Milan side away form home with our B-side too.

Most importantly why to play a player through injury and risk him to be out for 3,4 month like he was with his last injury, only Corona saved us missing him big time.

I agree - the biggest benefit of winning the Europa is Champions League qualification, and we're better placed for that via the league owing to Arsenal and Spurs being in the next round - it means more to them and we've already failed to beat them this season.

I take the point about better seeding via the Europa, but we get fecked in the draws regardless - focus what's left of the squad on the league campaign IMO.
