It’s either a 4-2-3-1 with Amad on the right, OR... He could go like this:

    Henderson
    Lindelof - Maguire - Bailly/Shaw
    Wan Bissaka - McTominay - Fred - Shaw/Telles
    Fernandes
    James - Greenwood
    :nervous:

That’s awful and we wouldn’t score all night. Not from open play and certainly not from set pieces which is Moyes’ only strength. We need to target their weak links, Cresswell at LB is very suspect defensively when targeted with pace and trickery.

If all our front 3 are out for this, we won't be scoring.

Bruno will be targeted out of the game and unless we get a penalty or something I reckon this could be a long old game.

Depressingly with our injuries I can’t see us winning this. 0-0 or maybe we pinch a 1-0.

given the players available and the Chelsea draw I think I'd aim to keep it tight. This is a game we can win in the moments and Moyes will come negatively hoping for Antonio to catch us

with an eye on Milan I'd play

    -------------------Henderson--------------------
    -------Bailly---Lindelof---Maguire--------
    Williams---McTominay--Fred--Shaw
    ----------------------Bruno-----------------------
    --------Greenwood------James-----------

I dont think Amad is ready to start games like this just yet. Scored a great goal against Milan but was very quiet otherwise. Might be a better option from the bench

    a draw wouldn't be a terrible result

    “Eye on Milan” ??

    Hope you're right.
I never thought Everton were much of a threat to be honest. They always have a woeful home defeat like today in their locker.
Spurs will have to overplay Kane and Son in the Europa too.

Let's hope we can put West Ham away, even with seemingly every striker out.

They way I see it (if we beat West Ham) - Everton realistically can not go past us, and West Ham have too many tough fixtures.

But if we have a poor end to the season where we only pick up 12 points from our last 9 games (which is really bad) - we will end up with 69 points. To get to 69, Spurs will need to pick up 24 points from their last 11 games

They have Arsenal (a), Leeds (a), United (h), Leicester (a), Villa (a), Everton (a) left to play - I can see Spurs dropping quite a few points.

But I think a lot will be decided today - if we win against West Ham, and Spurs don't beat Arsenal... well, then the advantage is huge in our favour

Thought he said he was expecting them back after.
He said when asked about Mata, Pogba and DVB that he hopes to have them back before the International break, but he's not sure. They definitely will be available after the break as per what he said.

Top 4 and winning the Europa League give you the same reward, but Europa League actually gives you a trophy too.

    Henderson

    AWB
    Lindelof
    Maguire
    Shaw
    McTominay
    Fred
    James
    Bruno
    Greenwood
    Martial

How I expect us to lineup, unless some injuries have healed (and Martial recovered).

Ole need to show why he is the manager of Man Utd today! Lets hope he pulls something smart out of his ... and outsmart Moyes.
Tabloids are already writing tomorrow's paper with the "MOYES MOIST EYES". Let's make sure the line follows up with losing and not winning.

Another overreacting post. All teams have had injuries and we were alright for most of the early and mid season. Now it’s our turn to pick up one or two. We have to get on with it. The last time we played West Ham they had no striker and had injury after injury in the game. I didn’t hear you complain back then!
you ent me to complain that West Ham had injuries?

So we have two midfielders injured and three starting attackers, and you expect the team to not be affected? You know this isn’t FIFA right?
what are you not understanding? I am saying the very opposite. and I've never played FIFA in my life and never wanted to

Yeah but we have a chance of comfortable CL qualification or focus on a lottery cup draw?
What happens if we get a covid outbreak on the day of the final etc?

Win this and we’re looking very good for top 4 all of a sudden.

It’d also move us to about 10/1 to finish outside the top 4 I presume, so I’ll Chuck a tenner on at that point to ease the pressure

All of a sudden? We are second in the league...

Sad to say but I just can’t see up winning this one and I’m usually positive. We just have no options in attack. Is Mata fit as I’d be tempted to bring him in alongside James with Greenwood up top.

    Henderson

    Bissaka
    Bailly
    Maguire
    Shaw

    Mctominay
    Fred
    Bruno

    James
    Greenwood
    Diallo

If Martial, Rashford and Cavani are all doubtful/not fully fit, then surely we'll be seeing a very youthful front 3 of James-Greenwood-Diallo? Alternative is Diallo on the bench, and Bruno plays as a false 9.

I doubt it though, hence why I think 5 at the back is more likely.

    Henderson

    AWB Bailly Lindelof Maguire Shaw

    Fred McSauce
    Bruno

    James Greenwood
That's the starting line up I've gone with, Martial instead of Greenwood if he makes it.

Reckon we'll see Diallo start tonight.

Don't think Ole will give him more than 20 mins as he was forced to bring him on against Milan.

This is a good opportunity to increase the gap since Everton and Chelsea lost points. Still got a really bad feeling about the game tonight

Would be nice to have Lindelof, Fred and Shaw back in the team for this one. Those three and Maguire make up about half of the whole squad's football ability.

I think he’ll avoid it if at all possible, maybe play all three of Fred, Mctominay, and Matic.

I don't see any reason not to play Diallo considering the alternative is dan James.

Ole tends to handle the younger lads well, but I feel he's being a little overprotective of Diallo. Let him start a game or two, he's not made of glass Ole.

I don't think Martial or Rashford will be as big a miss as it may seem. Both have been very poor in recent games. Diallo and James can not do any worse. Bruno is the real dynamo of this team. If he plays well, then I'll be confident of the win. Shut him down and we will do nothing.

Hopefully a West Ham defender does something daft and we get a penalty and win 1-0

Bruno too has been poor, but it always capable of contributing to affect a result. Martial and Rashford are in that category too. There’s a fair chance in any given game that Martial, Rashford or Bruno won’t ‘play well’ - but we could do with having a few players on the pitch who can affect the result. Even if that’s just from a pen or a free-kick. We’re probably not going to outplay West Ham tonight - so the more goalscorers/match winners the better. If the strikers are out then we need Bruno to produce something from somewhere.

Will be tough, because I suspect WH will get at least one set-piece goal, so with that considered alone, I can’t see us scoring more than one with the injuries and general form in front of goal.

    Hendo

    awb
    Maguire
    Bailly
    Shaw

    telles
    Fred
    McTom

    james
    Bruno
    Greenwood

Diallo off the bench, maybe Rashford if he makes the squad, probably matic if he wants to close up shop

Rashford definitely starts if he’s with the squad
