He improved a lot I thought vs his initial years at Chelsea. Curiously, I'd say he had a bit the opposite problem as AWB: Ivanovic seemed to keep his limbs so tight that they might get in the way of each other while try to execute technique. AWB has this need to keep his body so open to do anything, and as a result he needs to turn his entire body before trying to play a pass instead of being able to strike it at different angles.
