    0:3 to Spurs unfortunately.

    Bore off,

    2-1 to us,

    Rashford and Lukaku.

You can analyse these big games to the helm but at the end of the day it's a game of football. Hopefully we're up for it, I think old Trafford will be up for it too - I expect an exciting game I'm looking forward to how we approach this after the anfield match.

3 points is absolutely vital as I honestly expect city to drop some points in weird games over the season.

I'm not sure of our chances to take the title as of yet but beating Spurs will cement out interest of taking city to the end.

Can see Bailly being risked in a three man defense, like Lindelöf, but not just yet in 4-2-3-1.

    Excuse me sir?

You wrote us off as losing 0-3 already - my post explained why you can't just write this game off.

I expect us to be up for it. Hopefully we can get a convincing win here.

I cant see us winning convincing. Can see raise our game cause we need to and this 3 points are vital especially since Chelsea is coming up after that. I fear having Herrera-Matić midfield will again be our downfall.

Im 100% with you that our midfield lacks penetration without Pogba.

I'm hoping Jose can see this too and adjusts the team properly. I'm just hoping he doesn't go negative at home.

I'm excited to see how he sets up at home against a top 4/6 side when we're in the title race. I'm sure he will set us up to go for the win.

Whenever there's a feeling like this usually the reverse happens lately.

In every game last season vs top 6 at home we didn't hold back and were attacking. This will be no different. We must be wary of this Spurs team though cause they're really, really good. On the other hand we won last year 1:0 and were better as I recall. That doesn't mean it will happen the same on Saturday but I hope Jose has some ace down his sleeve.

    Let's do this:

    --------------------DDG
    --------Bailly-------Jones----Tuanzebe
    Valencia----Herrera---Matic---------Blind
    ------------------Mkhi
    ---------Lukaku----------Rashford

Lingard needs to start over Mkhi or Mata - preferably the former.

Why would Tuanzebe start ahead of Smalling in a game of this importance?

Yep, Martial is gonna play left back or be on the bench. If we had a positive manager to unleash him we would win this comfortably. He's gonna leave and win the balondor somewhere else :(

I’m not getting up at 6am for what will inevitably be another demonstration in shitehouse negative football from Mourinho.

    0-0, 1-0, or 0-1.

    6am isn't that bad? Surely?!

We need to show some challenge, if we lose this then we are pretty much chasing 2nd 3rd specially when a game vs Chelsea coming next so if we want to give ourselves a real go in the chase with city for the title then win this one.

    --------De gea------------
    Bailly Smalling Jones
    Valencia Matic Herrera Blind
    Rashford Lukaku Martial

Nows the time to surprise everyone and unleash that front 3. Go on Jose, you'll already have 5 defenders on the pitch and 2 CMs told to sit deep to provide cover so let the front 3 run loose. Back 7 to break up play and release the ball fast to the front 3.

Big, big hole in the middle against Tottenham's middle three Eriksen–Winks–Alli…

    They'd just be terribly isolated.

    They'd just be terribly isolated.

They would and I was only half serious but honestly I can't watch another game with Mkhi in the 10 role constantly losing the ball resulting in us just hoofing the ball to an isolated Lukaku who has no options. It would be great to be able to hit them with pace on both sides. 3 is too risky alright but we need more than Lukaku up there for sure.

If we played with this formation, we'll have no mean to carry the ball forward and will have to set very deep because of the big hole between midfield and attack. There will be zero link between the attackers and rest of line up.

This formation can only work with Pogba instead of Herrera.

Was looking forward to this game. Sadly can't watch it. So I'll happily take a 1-0 shady win :D

Let's go for it boys. All in on attack.

We need the win, and with or without Kane spurs wont sit back, the will be coming for the win as well. One bit of good news is they lost at home in the week, which will have put a dent in their confidence. I think a narrow win if we score first, as i think Mourinho would shut up shop. If they score first then its wide open for any score, even a loss.

Journos said that Kane won't play but I'm pretty sure that Poch will play him and then rest him for the next 2 weeks with the Int break coming soon.

Anyway I'm afraid of Kane, but I'm more afraid of their 4 mens behind (Alderweireld, Verthongen, Sanchez and LLoris) that are on fire recently.

Seeing our unability to break big defenses, we'll find it hard to open and break them.

I fear this will be a closed game.

We only have to hope for an individual miracle from Mata, Mkhi or Rashford tomorrow.

Maybe 4231 with Mata as a 10 and Herrere Matic as holding midfielders.
