Southampton’s shape has been excellent and caused us loads of problems both on and off the ball. We need to get higher up the pitch and close off the space they’ve got. Some energy wouldn’t hurt either, but maybe a hangover from Sunday’s 120 mins.

Amad has had a few good moments, but Mazraoui has been ineffective on the left side. If Amorim is serious about winning this game, I'd recommend taking Yoro off, shifting Mazraoui to right center-back, and deploying Garnacho as left wing-back. We need two attacking threats from the wide areas.

Having a few shots does not mean anything. He's missed an open goal and put other shots wide. His decision making has been poor and he keeps losing the ball in bad areas. I don't think any other player has been as bad as him. They've not been good either, but Garnacho 100% should be subbed after that half.

Can only assume Garnacho will get hooked and Amad will go into the #10. Tactically its understandable. However, its not just personnel. We need the wing backs to step up and support the press. Otherwise Southampton will continue with the rope-a-dope: Play the ball around their back, wait until our front 3 go chasing, then ping the ball around us into midfield and have our midfield scrambling.

The whole team needs to be braver and more willing to defend high. Yes its tough with Southampton's attacking pace but if we keep this up they'll just keep cutting through us like a hot knife into butter.

I don't think it's changed, it's just against strong teams we are pinned back a lot and don't need to move as much. Now we have space to cover and reality sets in.

We are allergic to corners and that’s only one of our problems. We are still in dreamland over our results against Liverpool and Arsenal but we carry on making the same mistakes time and time again. Relegation form for sure.
