Something's really wrong with the ball progression into midfield.

We just keep playing in across the back deep, then hoof it into the centre and lose the ball.

Our attackers aren't even getting the opportunity to really operate, just a lot of firefighting to get back the ball win it, then lose it again.

There's an aspect of the 343 that's not working at the moment. I think the CB's may be failing us in regard to ball progression

Yoro and Amad together has been very poor. No control on the right. There is no midfield as usual. Onana with a huge double save and Garancho needs to score that.

de Ligt great at heroic blocks but backtracks into his own box twice now. Once when Martinez got spun and then the other with Yoro. The defensive line is laughably deep and bad. At least Martinez is trying to push into midfield and press higher. Every other defender sitting back.

Mazraoui looks shot mentally. Probably needs a rest. Been awful with his passing.

Hojlund being inconsistent with his hold up play and when he does actually does do something, nothing ever comes back to him. Snap shots from Bruno or the others never looking for him in the same sequence. He's been bad but it's such a thankless task with idiotic plays.

Nothing new that we didn't know about Amad and him playing at RWB. All the people saying 'play him at RWB, we'll be more attacking init' don't know a thing.

Garnacho and Bruno have created some opportunities but their passing is so inconsistent.

Yoro, welcome to the Premier League. Was always a bit worried about him at the back of my mind but put it down to lack of playing time and experience. He's got great athletic potential but not sure about his body shape when defending 1 vs 1s. Too square and open.

You can say that but they won't do it, they panic when they're pressed and the defence won't step up to help the midfield

Amorim looking like an over rated Manager for now.
We can’t keep playing this defensive formation at home and against the lesser teams.

I kind of agree with that but my point was about Amorim insisting on players that just don't perform. Even in the good performances against Liverpool and Arsenal. I'd rather see Zirkzee on rather than watching Hojlund ineffective, pointless play. I'm this desperate.
