garnacho is so frustrating. Gets in great positions, constantly fluffs it. Then busts out a worldie. He is not what we need right now in the attacking lineup. Need consistency from our players.

They are pressing like maniacs but not super high - their guy will always sprint out to Martinez and the 20 out to Yoro and the middle is clogged like my toilet after a cuzza but otherwise they are more than happy for us to recycle the ball, get frustrated and then whack it long.
That's really been the biggest weak point, in my view. Lack of intensity and complete inability to play through their press. Awful stuff.

Garnacho had one on a plate and sliced it well wide. He’s also giving the ball away regularly when attempting simple passes, and ignoring his team mates in better positions. Needs to do better.

That’s the thing, isn’t it? No formation or tactical tweaks can remedy the lack of intensity and heart.
Yoro, Martinez, Mainoo & Hojlund were worse than Garnacho in that first half. Garnacho isnt having the best game but others have been worse.
It’s been a weak point since 2009.
Exactly this... the complacency before the goal was embarrassing and disgusting from a team that have no business being so complacent

Because we've been playing without a midfield for years and been getting pummelled every week. You can't just turn that off overnight. The Hagster should have gone way before he did and we wouldn't have half these issues.
