Betis are now 5th in La Liga, they are a very tough oppoent to beat, they got draws and only beaten by 1 goals vs Real and Barce in the 4 games thoughout this season, they are no mugs by anymeans.

I hope Garnacho and may be Pellstri can provide some magics off the bench, as the first team are too tired.

Will be happy take a 1-0 lead to 2nd leg actually.
I feel like every time we play some Spanish team it's this same story. Just behind the big guns and have got some good results lately. Why can't we just play one who is doing shit

I just checked my bookie but a United win earns you almost nothing so some people are pretty sure this will be an easy win. Was quite surprised to see that to be honest.

Absolute must win game after the weekend. Lose this and a slump could easily happen.

    ---------------------------------------------------------------------DDG------------------------------------------------
    AWB------------------------------------Lindelof--------------------------Martinez------------------------Malacia
    -------------------------------------------------Casemiro----------------Fred------------------------------------
    Sancho-------------------------------------------------------Bruno--------------------------------------------Garnacho
    -------------------------------------------------------------------Wout-------------------------------------------------------

That's the team I'd like to start. Rashford off the bench if needed.

Win this, beat Southampton on Sunday and we're back on track.

I still just feel dead inside after Sunday. I completely expect us to lose this 2 or 3 nil. I can’t summon one optimistic thought. What an absolute nightmare.

Yeah I agree, I actually don't think we've been near as good as people/pundits make out for a while now. As far back as the first Crystal Palace game I don't think we've been great - I can't remember who we played before that. But yeah, Barca were surprisingly toothless, like watching us under LVG.
Too many games in a short space of time and very little in the way of rotation as the replacements can't be trusted as they simply aren't good enough.

Palace away game was sandwiched in between the City and Arsenal games on short notice and simliar situations will happen if United progress further in the two Cup competitions.

Not expecting any impressive performances in the upcoming games but I'll be hoping to see plenty of gritt, determination, character to grind out results and after Sunday's woeful showing the ability to bounce back with a positive result tonight

Betis are missing their best player to be fair.

This and the FA cup are very winnable.

We've two quality players for every position at least.

I think after the international break and the better weather, we'll be rejuvenated.

Coming 3rd and winning 3 cups would be considered a very good season.

Only our second every "Treble" if I'm correct, albeit a diminished one
Does the weather influence us more than other teams?

    De Gea
    Dalot Varane Martinez Shaw
    Bruno Casemiro Fred Garnacho
    Sancho Rashford

Need a big win. Hopefully Sancho and Bruno really shine

Bench Wout and get Rashford up front and stop the madness. Plenty of others who should be benched after Sunday like Antony and Shaw but probably won't be.

I logged off here on Sunday(best decision) and only came back today and still people are so down. Yes on Sunday I was angry/frustrated etc but now with a clearer head I’ll put it down as a freak match and a blip.

Win tonight and we will be fine the only worrying thing is if we lose Sunday probably will mess up the rest of our season.

Next 3 games is Betis, Southampton and Fulham in F.A Cup win all 3 we be still on for 2 more trophies and close to cement top 4 which will stop any negatives around here

Looking forward to seeing the lineup and the game getting under way now, mixed with anticipation and anxiousness to how we start and play.

We will start this game with lightning in our eyes and thunder in our shoes. 4-0 by half time.

Hate to say it but I don’t think we have it in us to snatch a win here after being completely ripped apart at Anfield. A draw or loss looking more likely, as players try and get over the shock of being so convincingly pulverised by a rival. The game at Anfield would spark some level of self-doubt even in the most resilient of players.
    O ye of little faith.

4-0 away to Brentford next match win v Liverpool
6-3 away to Man City win v Omonoia, Everton
    & Omonoia
3-1 away to Villa, win v Villa & Fulham.

Take a shot of whisky everytime the commentator mentions the 7-0 loss tonight. Guarantee you'll be struggling to see straight come half time.

    De Gea
    AWB - Varane - Martinez - Shaw
    Casemiro
    Antony - Sancho - Bruno - Garnacho
    Rashford

    feck it go for it.

More likely we'll try too hard to force it, and end up 0-0 after 80 minutes with a late winner to make it 1-0

I saw the forecast says no snow for the afternoon and less than 1cm for evening. Is that considered a snow storm in England?
it's enough to shut ireland down, so I'd say similar for Manchester

    Wish.com treble.

Should feel excited, it’s a big game, but just can’t after Sunday’s result.

Does the weather influence us more than other teams?

I'm not sure about more than other teams but we've lots of players from warmer climates like Brazil, Argentina, Portugal, France, Spain etc who may perform better in warmer weather. Also it might light their mood.

You don't have a clue whether he needs to "man up", which in itself is a stupid comment. Or whether ETH doesn't think he is fit enough or he just hasn't got comfortable with the training drills yet.

In short you suggest he needs to "man up" when you don't know what is actual preventing him from playing.

He needs to get on the ball and create something. Beat a man, score a goal.

He's done very little in his time here and has numerous opportunities

FFS you are acting like we have never last a game badly before, 2-6 at home v City was worse, get a grip.
If you cant follow the team during bad, dont bother during the good, ONE bad match in how many and a trophy under our belt and you post this :wenger:

It was 1-6 and it wasn't even close to being worse than Sunday. City just scored three goals right at the end against ten men desperately trying to get back into the game.

I wouldn't really count France in that, and to be honest have no clue whether we relatively have more of those players than other teams, could easily be checked.

Don't think our form at the start of the season was better back then though, but that surely has other reasons.

There might be something in it, would be difficult to quantify it though.

Schools are closed around my area and I'm yet to see any snow.
