Because the last time he played he was a calamity defensively and we have several players ahead of him in the pecking order. He's competing with rashford, garnacho, Antony, sancho and recently even Bruno.

Its still strange he hasn't had more minutes in the cups given he is basically the only player other than Antony who prefers the right side and Antony has been poor

He provides a lot but will always be judged by his goals, especially when he's given a lot of chances despite making poor runs in the box.

Glad he scored today, it looked like it meant a lot to him. If he gets a few more - I don't mean he has to be prolific - then he will have done a decent job this season.

Shame about the end product. Poor decision to shoot instead of squaring it for a certain goal and he has to finish the last chance.

I have a theory about the players who score 10 odd goals a season. Score less and you’re not wasting chances because you aren’t backing yourself to take on chances. If you were less wasteful you’d be looking at 15-20 goals instead of 10.
Around 10 the you’re sneakily wasteful. It may look good scoring 10 as a wide man but you’ll waste a lot of chances chasing that 10
