I've barely thought about this game, feels like football shouldn't even be played at a time like this
Come on mate, it’s just been over 6 months now. Old Liz lived a good and full life, the world can’t stop anymore, it’s time you moved on.

Your movie idea may come true tonight if this is a shit show.

When I see the line up I’ll decide who Darryl Strawberry will be

Joaquin still plays at age 41

There’s still hope for Lingard if he develops well over the next 10 years

A win is very important here to strike back immediately after that embarrassing loss to Liverpool. The players need to show great mentality here. If they play like losers and don't even bother, I'll lose my mind

The forum will collectively lose their minds if they don't show up.

Even if we win this leg 5-0, you know we're going to field a full strength side in the return fixture.
Hm, not so sure about this. We will for sure rest Varane if we lead by 3, even by 2.

At the very least, we can take it easy. It's one thing playing on max intensity and another just cruising and controlling a game to get to the 60th minute with no goals conceded.

41 year old Joaquin starts for Betis. Pretty awesome

    Unchanged team

Subs - Heaton, Butland, Lindelof, Maguire, Malacia, Sancho, Pellistri, Wan-Bissaka, Elanga, McTominay, Garnacho, Mainoo

Welp, same team and I've missed a lot with my prediction

His obsession with Wout Weghorst is actually hilarious

Very all or nothing management that. Big risk.

Imagine this eleven losing again, how the hell do you pick the team vs Southampton?

Nobody getting dropped after the Anfield shitshow is a massive shock.

I get that he wants to give the players a chance to redeem themselves but this passes me off a bit to be honest. It just means if they play even vaguely ok they will probably then play the next game. When are other players supposed to get a look in? For players like casemiro who have generally been good that's fine but we have been carrying wout and antony for some time, surely other players deserve a chance in their stead. And dalot has been abysmal since the wc

That lineup worries me a lot not because it's poor on paper but after that shit show on Sunday I'd have expected the hammer to come down. Is Bruno out on the wing again?

I would imagine he's picked the exact same team to give them all another chance after what happened at the weekend. Basically saying to them go out there and show me you can do better.

It's clear as to why he's picking that team, isn't it?

He thinks the same IX will be fired up after that loss and it's essentially an attempt to get the morale back in that IX again.

Massive statement by the manager. Calling sunday a blip and trusting this team to show what they made of. I love the unchanged side. Lets go!!

Makes sense in a way. Go out there and perform and make up for being an embarrassment, if they’re awful today then there will be serious repercussions you’d expect.

What kind of message does this send players like AWB, Malacia or Sancho?

You can play like Dalot and Antony (not turn up and humiliate the club) and you still get picked the next game.
