    Team news in
Here is your United team: De Gea, Young, Jones, Smalling, Blind, Carrick, Fellaini, Memphis, Mata, Martial, Rooney

Oh Jones at RB, Young at LB presumably? Hardly going to go with Blind at LB?

I'm going to put my neck on the line and call Rooney having a big game today. Couple of goals for the captain and a good win.

Why are people moaning about Fellaini? He's the one midfielder that actually looks like scoring when playing deeper, which is what we need. He was constantly getting into good positons last week, and on another day he could have had a hat trick. Neither Schweinstieger, Schneiderlin, nor Carrick has done this for us this season.

If you look at the the teams that score plenty of goals, they always have a 8 and a 6, rather than a double 6 pivot. Ramsey, Toure, Cazorla, Dembele can all get goals from deeper positions.

Eventually, I'd like to see Herrera there, but for now, I don't think we can moan because we haven't exactly been pulling up any trees with Schweinsteiger or Schneiderlin in the team, especially in terms of going forward.
He looks like scoring but it's not helping us because whoever he has abandoned in midfield, is crowded out and we have no control of the game.

Soccer Saturday guys can't understand why Schneiderlin hasn't played since apparently being subbed off after 44 mins against Leicester (not taken off injured as it was).

Did someone not inform them he was injured?

Hopefully it is Blind and Young at full back. With Jones and Smalling as the CB pairing.

Fellaini starting when Herrera and Schneiderlin are on the bench is baffling.

If true, not sure i like Fellani next to Carrick. Does little to protect the backline. Saying that, the team should beat Norwich if they play to win, and not feck about playing safe.
That is the line up. It's the official United twitter account.

Fellaini is probably the most likely player to score in that team despite all the moaning. I would put good money on him having more attempts on goal than any other player.

Should have been Schneiderlin instead of Rooney with Fellaini playing as no. 10. Not very sexy looking frontline with Fellaini there but if Herrera wasn't going to start, that formation was something to ensure midfield solidarity and decent frontline with Fellaini's physical presence as added dimension. Happy or should I say more comfortable with today's backline especially comparing with last week's.

Rooney is going to be absolutely tumescent today. Expect poor touch and his usual dropping back and trying to be too involved to compensate.

    Fecking Rooney...

I honestly think it will take Rooney getting booed by Old trafford for Louis to drop him

Hah. Silly me expecting us to start a dynamic midfield with Schneiderlin and Herrera. We have Fellaini instead.

Fellaini is probably the most likely player to score in that team despite all the moaning. I would put good money on him having more attempts on goal than any other player.
I don't get all the moaning about him. He's the least of our worries.

Hangovers from the Moyes days, I suppose...

A very attacking side. Fellaini will get forward (probably doing feck all in the process, mind). Carrick -- not sure if that's enough to control the midfield as Mata's instinct is also to get forward.

But a hugely positive line-up -- only change I'd like to have seen is Schneiderlin in for Fellaini.
    mate. Stop it.

    Fellaini and rooney attacking ?

Why are people moaning about Fellaini? He's the one midfielder that actually looks like scoring when playing deeper, which is what we need.

because his positioning is f**king awful and leaves us far too open.

stick him at 10 with two sitting behind him if we're desperate, but he shouldn't get a look in if herrera, schneiderlin & schweinsteiger are available.

Herrera on the bench whilst Rooney walks straight back into the side pisses me off something rotten.

I actually like the team. I'm assuming it will be Blind at left back with Fellaini and Rooney playing as attacking midfielders though.

I can understand Herrera being on the bench, but you wonder what Morgan is thinking? I hope they do come on because if McNair, Varela or CBJ come on it will be because of another injury.

Picked Schneiderlin and Herrera to start, and I also picked Rooney. Of those three, all coming back from injury, Rooney starts as usual. This manager is a joke.

Happy to see what I assume/hope is Smalling and Jones back in the middle again
