ETH wanted Antony and Martinez. Yeah - maybe we could have saved 30m getting them in earlier but who is this world class forward available for 30m? They don’t exist. And nobody wanted Ronaldo. We spent shit loads in the summer - the fact we needed more is on our ineptitude in the past resulting in us needing so many players - not the summer window which I think the club went above and beyond what anyone could realistically have expected.
