    Getting chances and missing is still a lot better than not even getting the chances.... Rashford isnt going to miss all chances while Ronaldo isnt even getting the chance to miss. Rashford was better today than Ronaldo. He has been all season.

    Jesus Christ. Ronaldo is only there for simple taps ins and must score chances put on a plate for him then with no responsibility for the overall attacking play of the team then? We should accept nothing from him up to that point so his fanboys can enjoy a circle jerk about his stats. He was shit, again, he deserved to be subbed.

    Ronaldo and Fred can feck right off. Unreal performance by both of them. Fred is barely a footballer and fecking hell Ronaldo. What is he even doing? Where is he? How can a striker be in the wrong place all the fecking time? His positioning is the worst I have seen in a long time.

    Rashford may missed the chance but at least he got himself in the right place.

    Ronaldo should not start a single game anymore I'm sick of him. He was horseshit but has the audacity to cry and stink the place up. Eric should just drop him and everybody should move on. Horrible footballer and even worse charakter.

    Ronaldo has been shocking all season. Absolutely nothing he's shown this season suggests to me that he would score.
     
    Better 2nd half controlled it more same as midweek couldn't finish there dinner Rashford has the 2 best chances and can't hit the target. A europa league hangover and a useless ref, Arsenal get a dodgy pen Spurs get one there was more contact on Sancho than both of those.
    Pawson is top of the tree for worst ref in Europe he even laughs at his own descions ffs. Spurs on Wednesday with a less period to recuperate than they did. Hope Eriksen is better and Martial maybe bit early.

    You really dont want to get it do you? No it doesnt change the score but Rashford will score eventually if he gets chances (and he usually is okay-ish at finishing) while Ronaldo wont score at all because he doesnt get chances at all.

    He just played a fecking shite game. He didn't get to miss it because he wasn't on the pitch, because he was subbed off because he played shite. What do you expect ten Hag to do - leave him on the pitch regardless of how badly he plays because he might eventually do something? It's mental.

    I was replying to someone who said he was one of the best in the league right now. I didn't say he was bad, he just has a long way to go to be considered one of the best. I can think of seven or eight midfielders in the prem who I would take over him - probably more.

    Won't be surprised if he is dropped from the portugal world for next month world cup.

    If he is in, he is there to play the role of a cheerleader.

    Someone counting on him to lead the line and pull away 2 defenders..
    Now the defenders give him 2 steps can easily catch up with him.
     
    Someone needs to have a word with Bruno. All this waving of arms and whining when he should be playing football. It like watching a kids game. Compare this match to Liverpool v City and it just shows how far behind we are. At least City were undone by VAR for a change ha ha.

    just watched the game more carefully.... Ronaldo got virtually no service from crosses despite being exactly where you'd hope a forward would be. But i suppose that's his fault too...

    so Ronaldo is at fault when he doesn't get a chance... but rashford isn't when he does get chance? Yeh. real logic there
     
    I still don't think we make enough use of the ball in the opposition half. We play one touch passes but none of our players are really good at tricking the opposition and carrying the ball forward or playing a great pass. We just try one-two or keep passing from one side to the other. EtH is going to get fed up with this someday and get them to really push themselves. I've been irritated for many years now because every team in the league has at least 1 player who can shrug his shoulder and move the opposite side or make a dummy move or nutmeg players, our players are not very technical with the ball in this aspect as such. We still need good ball players or we need the coaches to instill these traits in our players.
