I think we will put in a performance and at the very least give them a game.In fact I wouldn’t rule out a win as City looked quite ‘leggy’ against Spurs and will miss KdB badly.
I think City are more likely to drop points in the run in that Pool.

Tomorrow is the last game they can lose points in. Tomorrow is the title.

Liverpool cannot feasibly lose another point, and while City have Burnley away, it's Burnley away!

Given the luck that Pool are having this season, I won't be surprised if City lose the last game on an own goal and throw away the title

On the positive side, even the most one eyed Pool fan will realise that if they don't win this year, with everything going their way, they truly never will.

Got a feeling we will get something from this game. Sunday's result was probably the best thing that could of happened for Liverpool.

I think we'll win, but bar Barcelona I always do :)

I think us beating Everton was the best thing that could have happened for them though, as we'd be so deep in top 4 we'd naturally have more.
What was more key for Pool was that Chelsea and Arsenal had such howlers, as that still just about keeps it open.

    Gone for this. Dunno why.

    De Gea
    Young Lindelof Smalling Shaw
    Lingard Fred McTominay Pogba Sanchez
    Rashford

I expect that we'll give them a game but whether they'll be leggy is hard to tell. The league game with Spurs was just 2 days after the CL one and this explains the leggy thing. If Ole doesn't rotate many players from the line-up against Everton, we might be leggy too.

I cant see us matching citys desire and hunger for the game tomorrow. We might maybe show enough commitment for the first 20 mins but it will fade. The last 10 games have shown how lazy and disrespectful these players are. An absolute shit show against Everton, who got chinned by Fulham last week, we should be winning these games or at least running enough miles to pressure them into mistakes. Our attackers have been woeful recently as well, the team has no confidence at all. Their heads have dropped after a couple of defeats and now have downed tools, same as under Jose. Not saying Jose was justified in his public treatment of the players but he was right about the attitude of the team. Woodward has to take blame for the lack of support he showed and the false belief that 2nd place last season would correspond into a title challenge this season.

I still look at lineups and think, that looks weak.

Before quickly realising NO-ONE is missing!

KDB, Silva (d) and Fernandinho are all out. That surely gives us "Hope" of a good result tomorrow.

    Gonna be a weird atmosphere.

Think city's quality/work ethic will be too much for our really hard working players . But I wouldn't be surprised if these clowns put Everton players effort vs them, then to only Fall of the cliff vs Chelsea.

I still expect Liverpool to win the league, but I don't think we'll be the side that stops City. 0-3.

We win once at OT vs them since 2011. Grim.

Exactly. Just a little bit of balance against any idea we'll "Throw" the game.

At our absolute best and them being off their best it'll still be tough!!

You just know they are gonna turn it on and world class the shit of city. Will be weird seeing a truly epic meltdown because we win a game.

Then not beat Chelsea, still miss top 4, and watch all those Pool fans you know and hate milking it for months.

No team retaining the league in about a decade is my worry - that's a sort of fate thing - along with all the luck they've had along the way

That's the worst part of it all. You just know whatever happens tomorrow this squad will lose sight of the target even with just a few games to go.

The saving grace, is that despite it being a derby where "anything can happen", we have been in shocking form, both home and away. City on the other hand are on some insane winning run, bar that 1-0 Tottenham away euro defeat.

I know it's football, but the smart money isn't on us turning up.

Either that, or take it all the way to the last day, get everyone’s hopes up then take a shit against Cardiff.

Regardless, you know they’ll let us done again followed by another scripted speech that regurgitates the usual “must do better”, “we let everyone down”, “nothing was coming off for us”, etc. In fact, I might put a bet on. :smirk:

That could make a huge difference if we are at it.

I mean the worse case scenario is a draw. That will do no one any good.

What kind of midfield do those injuries leave City with? Gundogan, Foden, B. Silva? Don't think Mahrez can handle a midfield 3. Maybe Pep decides to play Stones at DM again.

I’m not aware of Silva and Fernandinho being out.

It's going to be quite a strange experience being terrified every time we attack them and relived when they're laying siege to our goal.
I'm going to be Shitting it any time we're near their goal. We need an early Aguero goal to settle all our nerves.

I dislike City more then I do Liverpool so I hope we get any sort of result from them. Really hope we're fired up for it.

Win this and we make top 4.
