we are going to smash City and then put on a pitiful performance against Chelsea @ Old Trafford. Just get that feeling with a bunch of players coming out and saying how terrible they were against Everton.

We are average at home no matter what team we face. I fear that we will lose to City and draw to Chelsea, utterly killing team morale.

I would be extremely surprised if any of our lot actually have the backbone to show up for the fixture.

Players coming off their blocks flying and putting in a shift would be great. Also hope they don't forget to score an OG right before Full time in case we were leading. That'd show the world we're back.

The travesty on Sunday has me caring less about Liverpool and more about well being of our club.

Go ahead and drop the overpaid primadonnas and replace them with a bunch of young and hungry academy grads for the remainder of the season. The results are immaterial at this point in proceedings anyway.

There should be very little 'concern' about us winning this game and giving Liverpool the advantage. Irrespective of City's quality we're a crap team with crap players and a crap manager. I don't think the result is really in doubt.

I reckon we'll draw against City, handing Liverpool the league, and we still won't make top 4.

When football hates you, it hates you.

    ........ Dwazza Gunnar Solskjær

subs: FootyGirl88, Catt, Penna, Adisa, Mrs Smoker, bosnian_red, DavidDeSchmikes

    Manager: Andycoleno9

I don't see No Idea for Nickname there though

I've predicted 2-1 to United. So there.

    ——Lindelöf—Smalling—Jones
    Dalot————————————Shaw
    ——————-McT——Fred

Similar team, just Pogba for Pereira and Greenwood for Lingard, City won't know what to expect from him. Would have Gomes on the bench. Dalot and Shaw need to push forward as much as possible, and put as much pressure on City's defence as possible, get crosses in early for Pogba to make late runs into box.

Not looking forward to Wednesday , not one bit. I really can't see us getting close to City , yes I know Derby matches are sometimes not a pointer to PL form , but I think this one is, I just hope we dont get humiliated again.
I have no faith in the team to get anything.
Sad of me , yes I fully agree , but that the way it is sadly, cant wait for the season to be over.

RAWK's going (even more) bonkers over our 'Do we want to lose to City?' thread.

Fo we really want to hand the title to liverpool? No thanks.

We are 6/1 for the win - our worst odds at OT for a derby game, ever?

Could get really ugly, this one.

Would you mind posting a link to the thread where all the bonkers stuff is taking place?

I had a little look myself, but I came across a thread titled 'James Milner - Does laps of the universe for fun, more creative that De Bryune' and had to swiftly exit the forum before the delusion of RAWK became my reality. Scary stuff.

We will get absolutely battered if go with this team.

    Perfect.

Inigo Montoya is way too stubborn und tenacious in midfield, I say start someone nicer in Penna.

But we've already got 2 of the nicest guys on the forum in central defence (Aguero will have a field day) and a blatant WOLF guarding the net.

    We'll get smashed.

We'll be like the Swamp Castle guards in Monty Python and the Holy Grail.

    I’d go with...

    —Sanchez-Greenwood
    ——Pogba-McTom
    Shaw——Fred——Dalot
    —-Bailly-Mike-Lind
    ————Romero

    But expect...

    Rashford-Lukaku-Lingard
    —-——Pogba-Fred
    ————--Matic
    Shaw—Mike—Lind—Young
    —————DDG

    :(

Much better reaction and performance. But give away a soft goal.

    2-1

Ill jump on that City go on and hold off Liverpool, we'll sneak into 4th when it's all said and done.

We will probably play 5 at the back to sit deep and try to counter City.

We can’t do anything more than hoof football.

Or will Ole play is diamond that worked once in 20 games ?

I’d go for a 3-5-2 but with few changes.

Don’t want to play Pogba, Smalling, Young and even De Gea but bet we don’t have much choice

We’ll be trashed 0-3 at home, David Silva and Aguero always score against us and of course they will score on set pieces, as always….

I’d like a reaction from the team, a big game from De Gea, one also from Pogba….

    -------------------------------------De Gea------------------------------
    ---------------Lindelof--------Smalling-----------Rojo-----------
    Young------------Mc Tominay---------Herrera------Shaw
    ----------------------------------Pogba-----------------------------------
    -----------------------------Rashford-----Lingard------------------

    --------------------------------------Aguero-----------------------------
    Sterling-------------------------------------------Bernardo Silva
    ------------------David Silva-----------------Foden---------------------------------------------------Fernandinho-------------------------Mendy-----------Laporte--------------Stones--------Walker
    -----------------------------------Ederson-------------------------------

So some people still want us to actually lose this game
I sometimes don't believe this forum

Did you watch the Everton game? The Barcelona game?
It’s not about wanting a loss, it’s about expecting a loss.
    The players are shot.
