Surely losing each and every one of those games while scraping by 2-1 at home to West Ham and Watford isn't defensible though.
No, but I thought I'd sprinkle a little reasoning on the cesspit of pessimism that is this thread.

Pride of Manchester  Amazing how cocky the fans of crappy clubs can be

None of you will like this. But I feel sorry for Pogba having to play with the sheer lack of ability all around him.

He's a luxury player yes, who we all demand a lot from. But just like I felt for De Gea a few years back, I feel for Pogba. He possibly the world's most gifted midfielder, playing in a sack of manure.

But basically, coming to this conclusion is all down to Ed and whoever else is responsible for not strengthening and putting this club on the right trajectory on the numerous occasions they've had the opportunity to do so, evidently stretching way back to all the quality players we could have had, back when if we'd just have paid 40 million instead of 30...we'd have had wondrous players at our disposal.

We're a business who is behind the times. We're an IBM, a Microsoft, a Myspace...and we're going to pay for it.

Yep and the boys will be keen to bounce back v Chelsea.

He'll remind us that there is no place to hide at OT only to finish by reminding us that he still have faith in most of these guys

Lindelof back to business and Darmian better than expected are my two positive take aways from this match.

Humiliate game after game. Ole don't know what he exactly want from games? I am so worried now.

He's played like a sack of manure most of the season to be fair.

Who actually believed that after our recent showings we were going to beat City?

If City score another goal, I'll have a perfect prediction for players, subs, and scoreline.

    Pep likes weird challenges right?

He likes projects and pressure to produce?

But he mainly likes to prove himself, his system, his approach, his coaching ability?

Is it beyond him to leave City and then a little later down the line come to us and take on the ultimate "I told you I was the best on the planet"?

    Please do.
There is nothing weird or respectable in the challenges he has taken. Barca, bayern and city. You couldn't have picked three easier clubs to manage.

    Full-time (90+5')
I just don't get how we can go from heroes to zeroes. There is something awfully rotten at Old Trafford.

Manchester City run out winners and it's a big result for them in the title race. We had the better of the first-half without really troubling Ederson. City were much brighter in the second-half and once Bernardo Silva scored the opening goal after 54 minutes they took control. Sane struck the second-half on 66 minutes and that was that.

For us, it's another massive blow to our chances of making the top 4. Arsenal lost tonight but we didn't take advantage. A win over Chelsea on Sunday will potentially still keep us in the race but we will be dependent on Arsenal dropping more points.

Nobody seems to want fourth place this season so anything could still happen...

Man Utd 0:1 Man City - Bernardo Silva (54')

Man Utd 0:2 Man City - Sane (54')
