"How to win the Champions League without Messi" had me chuckling.
Same...and that weird German accent Mourinho has (Nazi Mourinho?)

Hope to see a lot of these videos this season

This is one of the most anticipated games in recent memory in the Premier League.

I think the game at their place in April 2012 was the most anticipated game in the history of the PL though

This derby has more spice now the hairless Spanish is there. As much as I would have loved to have him here, I hate him now (like Klopp tbf)

Whenever he went, Guardiola was a succes, I just hope that we will beat him and show him that he's not that genius and he'll have a lot of work to do.

We're at home, we've to be aggresive, play fast and break them when we can. We may be faster than them, stronger than them, we don't care, just win this game, shut them down, and send a statement to the world watching this.

We're back to the winnings days and we've to win these games. Last year we were better than them home and away, like two years ago, but with our and their new team, we must show that we have the best foundation.

I expect drama, I really hope that we'll score few goals.

If Fellaini and Pogba can be solid defensively the team wil shine. I trust our defense, but not much our defensive organisation. Sometimes Pogba is not the shield we need and when he's so high on the pitch can forget to replace, and Fellaini can't be trusted as a lone defensive midfielder.

Regarding Guardiola's tactics, his team transform from a 4-1-4-1 without the ball to a 3-4-3 with it. We need width on the wing to hurt them when we get the ball, and need to be solid inside where De Bruyne, Silva and maybe Gundogan will be present. Mkhitaryan can be the answer on the right side, and I hope that Martial will have a good game hurting them on the wings.

I hope Ibra will destroy Stones too

I don't know why I keep feeling Rashford will start this.

I've got a feeling he will too. I think Mourinho will play as much pace as possible to exploit the ridiculously high back line they play. Smash and grab.

Manchester United will assess full-back Antonio Valencia when he returns from international duty with Ecuador.

Henrikh Mkhitaryan is doubtful with an arm injury, but Luke Shaw is available despite withdrawing from England duty.

Manchester City striker Sergio Aguero begins a three-game ban but Bacary Sagna should be in contention after recovering from a hamstring injury.

Leroy Sane and Ilkay Gundogan are now fit and may make their debuts, as could goalkeeper Claudio Bravo.

Captain Vincent Kompany is back in full training following a thigh problem, but the club are unlikely to rush the injury-plagued defender back to action.

    BBC say Shaw is fine

An arm injury?????????????? A fecking arm injury?????????
    This better not be true.
If he's pulling out of a derby with a fecking arm injury then he has gone down massively in my estimation.
A poorly fecking arm?????? Jesus Christ!!!

Starting to feel nervous. I think the power and height of your players could do us damage. First ten minutes will be key because if we can get a foothold in the match and play our possession football then we will grow in confidence as the game continues. If United press and harass us, stopping us playing our game then I think we could be there for the taking. Bring it on.

Can't tell if you are serious or not. But it's not up to him either way, it's up to our physios.

Missing this as I am travelling :( Can't believe it.

Oh I am serious. Deadly serious!
Of course its up to him. He's the one crying about his poorly arm. I hope this isn't true.

Id love to be a fly on the hypothetical changing room wall to see Roy Keanes face when somebody pulls out of a potential first start, in a derby.....with a sore arm!

    Grow up

First game I get to watch live this season due to work!

Ideally, I wanted us to be able to stick with a similar line-up from the previous games. Mkhitaryan and Rashford to come from the bench would be huge in the last 25 minutes.

    De Gea
    Valencia Bailly Blind Shaw
    Pogba Fellaini
    Mata Rooney Martial
    Ibrahimovic
    ---
Romero; Smalling; Carrick, Schneiderlin, Herrera, Young; Rashford

I'm assuming that Mkhitaryan will miss the game, and hoping that Valencia won't be jetlagged. I'd personally like to see Rashford be given the start, but expect Jose to keep him more grounded use him for impact in a game like this.

It's so hard to pick a bench at the moment as I'd be leaving out Lingard, Darmian, Fosu-Mensah etc as it is.

The only real worry for me is Fellaini. He's done well in that position so far, but it's a different kettle of fish against City. We'll have to stay on the front foot and try to use the aerial threat of him and Zlatan as much as possible.

I've said 2-1 in the prediction, but I think this game could go either way despite Aguero missing it.

    What?

are you for real !! you don't even know what the injury is, get a grip.

Is this Injury related to the one he got in the international friendly that he players recently? I have heard it was a rib injury which could be related to the arm injury then I heard it was an ankle injury, then I heard it was a thigh injury. Either no one knows exactly or he is having the worst luck going injuring every limb possible. Reminds me of the nursery school rhyme:

"Heads, shoulders, knees and toes, Knees and Toes" :(

True. We don't know what the injury is or the severity of it. There's no point aggravating it. Plus many people forget how important arms are in football, running, for balance and to exert yourself physically.

Line up and scores are doing my head in.
My heart says a decent win for us , but my head says a Derby that has been so hyped up will be boring and 0-0.

I know exactly how you feel Paul - i havent the foggiest about a scoreline & i dont know who's out of the game for us yet either; so i'm just gonna leave my predictions till tomorrow morning..

    TFM/Tony----------Bailly----------Blind---------Shaw--
    -------------------Fellaini----Pogba--------------------
    --Rooney----------Rashford-------------Martial-------
    ---------------------Ibrahimovic---------------------------

with all 3 of Martial, Rashford and Rooney rotating to keep City guessing. 2-0

Nerves are kicking in now big time. Should probably be more confident than I am but I just can't overcome the gut wrenching feeling!! Just want the game to hurry up and come! I know it's early in the season but if we win this, it's a big marker. Come on Reds

I'm bricking it now. Don't want that feeling of having to avoid Internet or TV because you don't want to have anything to do with the result.
The narrative about Guardiola and dominating the league will be endless if they win.

My feelings entirely. Obviously 9 points from a possible 12 is still a good start to the season but it's the bragging rights to play for.

Okay but this time you were kidding, right?

    :lol::lol::lol:
    Of course.
Seriously though? Am I the only person with whom pulling out of the derby with an arm injury doesn't sit well with. I know he's our new signing and he did well at Hull and we are all excited about seeing him. But a arm injury?
