Just put that Martial on. And can the players find some passion and urgency? We aren't leading the EPL by 10 points you know!

Thank God atleast YOung is warming up. Might as well get Martial in there ahead of Fellaini.

The fullbacks of both team have been absolutely brilliant. Shaw the best of them though. Blind vs Benteke not going well so far?

We are so boring to watch. Liverpool have shown next to no quality and made plenty of mistakes in the first half yet we barely created a chance. This team need to take more risks, one that could pay off would be introducing Martial in the second half. You just know van Gaal will keep him on the bench until 85th minute because of philosophy though.

I can't believe I had to put on clothes and run all the way to the pub to watch to watch this shower of shit.

Is this really the best LVG can do? I mean I understand it takes time to gel but it hasn't taken time to make them into robots. They are all programmed to cross it to far post to Fellaini. Is that it?

Again... where are the goals going to come from? This is the most toothless I remember us being.. ever... and I'm not just talking about this game..

This is fecking awful to watch. I'm so glad that we got rid of van Gaal. Can't believe some people believe he's coaching a more attractive style of football than Guardiola.

Has anyone actually ever said that?

Depay is worying me too we hit paid dirt with darmian and the fee for Bastian and I believe Morgan will be great for us but depay? He has adm disease now

Congratulations, Louis van Gaal, for turning our most important home fixture of the year into a pile of shit. All the possession and absolutely nothing created.

The last run by Shaw up the middle says everything about our attack. He had an open run and a chance to catch Liverpool on the break but he dawdled and nearly stopped, then tossed it to a player who was covered. Can Giggs please tell our manager that the league isn't decided on possession, it's decided on scoring?

This shit is like Groundhog Day. It's a safe bet (though I may be completely wrong) that Liverpool will take advantage of one counterattack and win 1-0. We are the most unambitious attacking team in the league, we absolutely must be.

Yet again, the only player making attempts is Shaw. Memphis is like Valencia: he gets the ball, dithers around and the passes back. No one even tries to exploit the spaces that are open. This is sh*t.
He has probably been told to play safe, maybe.

I mean the players have already mentioned this to Van Gaal, they feel flat. Most likely because they're told to play a certain way and not allowed to express themselves.

If anyone thinks this is going to improve anytime soon under Van Gaal they're kidding themselves. This is all we've got to look forward to all season.

Anyone else wish we had Hernandez?

Selling him and RVP without replacing them with at least one experienced striker was fecking stupid.

i cannot remember such an impotent United side. LVG has completely sucked any and all attacking intent out of our play.

Yeah, this is just woeful and indicative of how we've played every game this season. This just isn't how Man Utd should play. It's genuinely just boring.

And it seems our best bet after spending 300m is to bring on Ashley Young. Lol.

Van Gaal's best work will be noticed after he's gone. But we need another manager to take the shackles off and build on the tactical and technical base he's built.

Bring on Martial. feck it, bring on Romero upfront.

Honestly, that's our only hope. We're reduced to praying that some barely known 19 year old will somehow turn out to be our savior, it's absolutely laughable.

Some interesting stats here comparing Guardiola time at Bayren and LVG at United

The fact that Liverpool started that way and we didn't really put them away, is something we need to improve at. We don't cut teams open the way we need to. Liverpool starting that nervously should have at least resulted in a few good chances.

Liverpool defence is absolute fecking garbage, but we don't look like scoring.

    And then there's Fellaini.

Sterling may be a better player, but Memphis is more talented.

How can you say that? Sterling when he was 2 years younger was battling for the title with Liverpool, putting in some stunning displays over the course of the season. Then Depay went on to have a better 14/15 season (although in the Eredivisie). What has Depay done that he's more talented?

I feel like it isn't a case of the individuals, this system just can't support a good attacking player at all. Even if we signed someone like Lewandowski he'd probably struggle too.
