This game is like watching a Floyd Mayweather fight.

Was your football like this under Van Gaal? I thought, at least in his first season, Bayern played good stuff?
We had a pretty great spell for about 6 months under him in the first season, yeah. Looks shockingly similar to what we had to endure in his second season though.

"Our philosophy", these words will be forever bored into my mind until the sweet gift of ageing senility or a heart attack during a four way with some bikini models releases me from the tumescent memories of watching us play this particular brand of possession football. A brand that nobody asked for and no one wants

"It's a process", will be the oft repeated end game to the debate about whether or not we should spend 90 minutes every match passing sideways as the players up front are under strict orders not to lose their shape, and not to risk leaving openings for the opposition in case they manage to rip the ball from our grasp.

"Shut the feck up Pidgy"; I know that some of you are thinking this, and you're right in many ways. But in many other ways I know you agree with me when I say that I would rather eat my own arse than think about the prospect of this - what we're playing today, against a bitter historical rival no less - this thing being how we play for the rest of the season.

To be fair Guardiola had players that could make anything out of nothing, I wouldn't personally want him here because he would be our LvG v2.
Bayern are very entertaining to watch as well. I can see someone like Ander shine under Pep's guidance.

We're attacking the Stretty second half against the Scousers, if that can't rouse a performance out of us nothing can.

    Yellow card for Liverpool

Young takes on Clyne, nutmegs him then gets blocked off on the left edge of the box. Clyne goes in the book.
Funny how people still think LVG is going to magically change how we play, if its tooken 1 year and a half and peole still cant see theres been absolutely no change in our football, and our attack was far better under Moyes, this team or how he sets them up to play have absolutely no goals in them at all

    Goal for Manchester United

    Daley Blind
The Dutchman's first Old Trafford goal and what a game to get it in.

Mata pulls the free-kick back to the edge of the box. Schweinsteiger pulls Clyne away, leaving Blind to line up his shot from the edge of the box and he curls it into the corner.

Lift-off at last in this game.
