This is weird isn't it. LVG was up enough for the Dutch side and Giggs is like the undead compared to how he was. I'd like to see someone off the bench.

It all comes down to strictness of gameplan. Afraid to make mistakes, lose possession etc. LVG needs to realise that his strict philosophy needs to be more like a casual gameplan.

It's also why signing players like Martial, Memphis and last season Di Maria doesn't immediately make sense since they aren't players that naturally fit this possession game and are prepared to take more risks.

But many people on here look at the price tag and think, "£36M...this guy must be damn good, lets see him play."
They dont consider that he is a youth player and has no EPL experience. It'll be like throwing a kid out to the wolves.
