    They have barely had the ball, to be fair. Most of the game after the goal was played in our half.
     
    I hope to God we can get a second goal from somewhere, anywhere!
     
    Enjoying watching the defenders pumped and high fiving or whatever after putting in tackles. All up for it..
     
    Deserved the lead but they are looking more threatening as time goes on. Timing of subs will be key as I already see players not pressing as hard as they started. If Elanga had a bit more quality we'd been 2-0 up. It wasn't just the missed shot, but some of his touches has been quite bad. At least he's pressed well I'll give him that. Rashford on the other hand looks like he's conserving energy. Still makes a few runs but nowhere near enough when of the ball. He should look to Sancho who has been exemplary, even if he has faded a bit towards the end.

    Another thing that has been exemplary was the aggression shown by all of our back 4. They've all been willing to get in their faces, backs, heads, just an all around physicality that is often missing. Apart from the two feckups from Bruno the three man midfield has done it's job. Just need to get one ball right from them early on and we'll be sitting pretty.

    EtH has some big calls to make with his subs, big half incoming.
     
    Bit worried about Dalot. He's played OK so far, but Diaz is going to get him sent off in this second half.

    Just seen a replay of the Martinez block on Fernandes… I said it after the Rayo Valecano game. The speed at which the guy gets back into position is fantastic. Couple that with his sharp forward passing an aggressive defending… wow.

    At the end of the day, we're playing against Henderson and Milner in midfield, we should be able to out match those two
     
    Front 3 are letting us down. Not making runs, bad positioning. Wasting Eriksen.
     
    Varane, Martinez, Dalot, Malacia - our backline has been genuinely excellent. McT having a good game too. Elanga making all the right runs, just lacks that ball control - pity about hitting the post, was so fecking close but it's never easy to get the ball out of Allison's reach. Rashford playing a bit deep/slow for a forward, not sure if a tactical choice or not. Plus side is he isn't getting offside, though, he was always pretty bad at timing his runs as a 9, better to rely on his pace.

    Is it just me or has DDG been coming to get the ball a bit better than he used to be?

    Bruno genuinely tried to score a goal against us but Martinez blocked it - twice! Bloody hell. He's been good at the other end of the pitch but I get nervous every time he's in our third, so bad in defence.

    Overall really pleased with the side so far. Hope we get another, this isn't going to be an easy second half.

    Hope we get to the 70/75 minute. Then counter them smartly
     
    Mobility of our defence shows you how Maguire fecks up our defence. Varane and Martinez looking really good together.
    They just need to play every week
     
    We need to keep up that intensity in the second half, and not care about the result.

    If we start worrying about conceding, we likely will.

    Come on united.

    This is so much better that anything in the last 10 months. Let's do this!
