Well you said it yourself. We were outrun an outworked so ETH brought in players who have loads of running and energy to replace players who don't have much running or energy(Ronaldo, Maguire and Shaw).Seems a strange lineup to me, not sure I quite understand the thinking....
You lose a game to a bottom-half side 0-4, largely because you're GK makes two unforced errors and the team is out-worked and over-run.
So who do you change? The CB you DIDN'T sub (who is also you captain), your top goalscorer (who doesnt run...but neither do Sancho or Rashford) and you leave out your hardest working CM (who admittedly is diabolical.
We still have DDG in goal and Dalot at RB. You're giving Malacia his PL debut vs Liverpool.
I just fail to see how these changes help us overcome the issues we have had in the first two games. No player can complain about being dropped but I feel the timing is slightly odd.
I mean yea, everyone and their dog knows it. But I didn't expect ETH to say it so publicly. And I love it!He's not lying!
I don't even see the point in commenting at the line-up at this point because I thought some of our previous teams were decent but then we got smashed. I'm happy to see some statement changes tonight, if only to light a fire under some people. Whether or not it works for tonight, that remains to be seen.
Sure the game may not even go ahead so this may all be for nothing.
Heaton is just shit, not even close to DDG.I don't know what to say about the line up.... he should have dropped DeGea, the biggest culprit of the last game and he still starts. Heaton must really be shit in training if he can't get ahead of DDG (sigh).
Question is, when did we last play well? I genuinely can’t even remember.Usually when the caf are unhappy, we play well.
Do I dare tempt fate?
Can a loss be a victory?Even if we lose to Liverpool this is a victory
A huge step to progress and first time EtH showing to me that he will try to stick to his philosophy and style of play regardless of player.
I have hope now
Nah, Malacia has got his number, you watchSalah will slaughter us

Diaz against Dalot is even worse.Salah will slaughter us
He is basically the only player in our squad where I can’t think of one single thing he is good at.Dalot may be the worst player in the Premier League.
