    You can't be clinical with a cross you don't get to? Or second balls that come to nothing?
    That makes no sense. All that means is that you didn't play well enough to create a chance, nothing to do with being clinical.

    Was scanning through the pages and saw this beautiful piece of delusion.Bayern came as close to scoring as you did, in particular in the first half when Gnabry went by Robertson like he was a statue and saw his cross rebound off Mario onto Allison and somehow not go in.

    Given his track record of completely biased performances against us and decisions like this for Liverpool it's really mental that he's allowed to ref this game. Mental but totally expected though.
     
    I think it will be a thrashing... it could go either way... I just hope we take the bull by the horns since the first whistle and score first.

    First of all, who's Mario?

    Forgive me my delusion that I don't consider a clearance by our CB that went off our GK and would've gone wide anyway as a chance for Bayern.
     
    Know Idea of the score but looking forward to it nonetheless. I love there is so many subplots to this game.....
     
    I realized right now what happens in the table if Arsenal and Chelsea win their matches and we lose or play a draw against Liverpool. I hope that Ole can create magic again and that the players play as it applied to their lives. Please!
     
    Very concerned about Oliver being put in charge of this one. He should have been relegated to the Championship after the Herrera debacle in the game at Stamford Bridge.

    I have no faith that he's going to be able to stop himself from making some crazy decision that has a major impact on the game. It's highly likely that it will be us on the receiving end. There are many in the upper echelons of the PL that are desperate for a close title race ending in a Liverpool win. Oliver will do everything he can to aid this.

    We're at home, home advantage is a real thing when you look at refereeing decisions. I very much doubt Liverpool will be benefactors to any huge decision making in a game of this magnitude unless one of our players hits eject and stamps on someone or goes to ground when they shouldn't. At that point, it's not even a discussion, the ref has to do his job.

    I hope you're not suggesting that the referee will purposely give Liverpool favourable decisions because he wants them to win the league?
     
    This is such an important game in so many ways. We have got to win.
     
    Merson's backed United to win 2-1...so I feel more confident now.

    Really hope when the match is finished, there is complete consensus (apart from their delusion lot) that they deserved nothing from the match. Fcuking flatten them and their title bid.

    I think he's got United in second.

    Considering this is our hardest fixture out of the ones remaining, it's fair to assume Lawrenson will have us finishing as the invincible's who didn't win the league.
     
    Needless to say. The first goal will be important. Score first and I can't see us lose. If they score first we still have that mental fragility at the back which could see us ship more in.

    Part of me agrees and wants to dominate them. But the devil in me wants a 3-0 where we get dominated but score a BS pen and two offside goals so that I can enjoy the meltdown from Klopp and the lovely people on RAWK.

    If we play with the same level of intensity we did against Chelsea then we will certainly cause them problems.

    Herrera is going to be really important if he can disrupt and breakup their approach play.
    Our defence has to stay on their feet and concentrate 100%.

    I am certain not pessimistic.
