Honestly a tad miffed we didn't nick it at the end.

Absolutely toothless from Pool, partly down to Salah turning to mush when he plays us and pool completely reliant on Firmino.

That doesn't take anything away from our lads, to game manage a side that's top of the league so effectively despite our injury woes and any initial game plan in tatters is no small feat.

This is the same team that let Shaqiri come on and utterly ruin us at Anfield (boy aren't we glad that happened if that was what finished Jose) yet today he came on and nothing changed, hell we still looked like the only team with real chances to score.

Was about to say the same thin myself. Absolutely astonishing defensive game today. Constantly got out of trouble with the right pass under severe pressure.

Someone needs to get at him on Twitter and let him know how glorious a performance that was. The guy pushed through all the Mourinho BS to arrive at this.

Did you miss the three good chances were created. Lingard, the offside OG and the cross to Smalling. We also had a couple more half chances like the pogba header at the keeper.

I definitely missed any chances for your team in the 90 minutes.

Could someone please explain to me how liverpool were allowed to play on when in the second half our player was offside, whose header went straight to allison (called offside from the linesman) but allison threw the ball to a pool player and play went on. WTF

Unless i am mistaken, surely that has to be a free kick for offside and not continuation of play for pool.

All things considered, I thought today was probably 2nd to last year's come back at the Emirates as the best 'Full of United Character Performance' since SAF's retirement.

Sure, The Scousers today weren't everything we've been told they are this season, but I thought that was as much due to our own fantastic performance as their own not so fantastic performance.
