100% this. The question is what would Onana have done when he reached the ball? The answer is...he would just have punted it long, anyway. If it doesn't go into touch, it goes up the other end to the Ipswich defence.
The only logical thing to have done in that situation is make the right passing angle for Drogu to lay it off to him. You have to play your way out of trouble there. Exactly. Keepers are usually told not to come out as long as a defender is in contact, but if the keeper does come out, he needs to call it so that the defender can let the keeper intervene.
