A reaction from Jose would be great in form of a changed line up.
    ...................Martial.......
    Sanchez.......................Mata
    .................. Lingard
    .........Pogba.........Matic........
    Shaw.....Rojo....Jones....Val

Easy to be cynical about this one, anything but a win and it's confirmation there's something chronically wrong, get a win and so what it's Huddersfield. Before we get a goal, the matchday thread is going to be angrier than a jihadi who's misplaced his koran.

Think the only change will be Mata for Martial.
Expect Alexis to score his first, 3-0 to us.

If it's a reaction to our last game, why not drop Jones who basically cost us the game and was all over the place? Personally I would give Rojo and Lindelof a shot. Shaw at LB and a midfield 3 with Martial lukaku and Alexis up front.

Because no matter how shit Jones was he's still our best CB while Bailly is out.

Jones a certain starter. Needs to put a mare behind him. Likewise PP.

Possibly, personally I don't see it but it's arguable. But if someone plays as badly as he did, and is back in the next game, it just sends the wrong message to the guys sat on the bench waiting for an opportunity. We talk about deadwood etc, cb feels like the one position you have actual options. Use them and kick under performers up the arse.

id really like to see Martial in his usual role in this rather than shunted to accommodate someone else

Sanchez to get off the mark today - Huddersfield are a shadow of the side we played earlier in the season

    ----------------------DDG---------------------
    TV-------Lindelof----Jones------Shaw
    ---------------------Matic---------------------
    -Mata----Sanchez---Pogba---Martial
    --------------------Lukaku----------------------

Pogba to drop back a bit when we are defending but Huddersfield will spend 75% of this game in their third of the pitch

Happy to be in Nigeria atm. Can watch a 3pm KO without having to look at shite streams.

Off to this one. Just got here actually. Off for pie chips and gravy. Get a free programme and memorial book on our seats to mark 60 years since munich.

Nigeria is a wonderful place. I won a lottery from there just yesterday. Will receive the winnings soon.

We have gotta smash these lot today. We need a big, impressive win to sort our skulls out after that complete disaster midweek.

This has to be a very comfortable win with a performance to match.

It'd be typical post Ferguson united though to compound the poor midweek game with more dropped points. Especially when two rivals are playing each other and at least one will drop points.

Spurs are a good outfit, Huddersfield are not, so no point going overboard, I would actually stick with the same eleven that started that match, especially at home we will be far too strong for them.

    Don’t waste pogba anymore

    Same here.
I'd keep the same starting eleven, though maybe switch Martial and Sanchez around, so Martial starts on the left.
Martial is not talented enough to start from the right, but Sanchez can play in the middle or on the right.

    This Jones' sister?

    No. This is her.

    :lol::lol::lol:

    De Gea
    Valencia Jones Rojo Shaw
    Matic Pogba
    Mata Sanchez Martial
    Lukaku

That's the team I'd go with today.

    Confirmed United squad members

Goalkeepers: David de Gea, Sergio Romero, Joel Pereira

Defenders: Antonio Valencia, Victor Lindelof, Chris Smalling, Marcos Rojo, Luke Shaw, Ashley Young
Midfielders: Nemanja Matic, Paul Pogba, Scott McTominay, Michael Carrick, Jesse Lingard
Forwards: Juan Mata, Alexis Sanchez, Anthony Martial, Marcus Rashford, Romelu Lukaku

Jones, Herrera and Darmian not seen. Darmian probably left out anyway. Herrera probably went in via a different way while Jones might actually be ill as his sister says.

    What I'd like;

    ----------------DDG-----------------
    Valencia - Jones - Smalling - Shaw
    ---------------Matic-----------------
    ------McTominay-Pogba------------
    -Sanchez-------------------Martial-
    --------------Rashford--------------

    What I reckon we'll get;

    ----------------DDG-----------------
    Valencia - Jones - Smalling - Young
    -----------Matic-----Pogba----------
    -Mata--------Lingard-------Sanchez
    --------------Lukaku----------------

I fancy a Lukaku perfect hat-trick after all the shite he's been getting on here though.

Be wrong for Jose to drop players today, especially as his poor tactics were a major part as to why our players didn't perform against Spurs.

You can't just put a team together and think they will perform. It's all about balance, and against Spurs we had none, hence why we conceded so many chances and looked clueless going forward.

It's been the same all season when up against the 'top 6'.
