Both in squad so not injured. Whether they're dropped or not, remains to be seen.
In Martial's case I can understand him being dropped for Rashford or Mata because we have a lot of attacking options now but in Pogba's case there's no logic in dropping because anyone who comes in is a massive step down. At least Fellaini can't play, that's a positive.

Jose would be mad to drop Pogba. Without him being poor or not, we absolutely could not create chances even if there is Alexis now

Pogba getting dropped will backfire massively when we’re 1-0 down with 20 minutes to go.

Pretty sure Rashford will start today. jose was furious with Martial Wednesday.

Would be nice to see something like this:

    ................Lukaku...........
    Rashford...Sanchez...Lingard

Those 3 can all comfortably rotate positions whereas Martial and Mata aren’t as flexible with their positions.

Can replace pogba with Mata coming in and someone more solid defensively to give us more balance and Sanchez a better platform. Pogba had a mare, and if he didn't do what Mourinho asks, he deserves being dropped to send a message as much as anything. Nobody is above being dropped.

If playing badly against Tottenham means you get dropped then our team should be De Gea + 10 new players.

My first trip to OT, am now sat in the vip section eating a lovely buffet. :wenger:
Got to take pics with some of the shirts used in big historical matches.
Got a nice one with me wearing DDG' s glove and matchball from EL final :D

Going for a nice 4-0 win, all goals on my side of the pitch :D

    Have a good time.

That leaked/predicated line up looks good IMO. Mctominay is average at best but he at least does seem to know how to play in a midfield 2 positionally speaking. So should give us more balance. Mata gives us more control and better decision making, while having Sanchez, lukaku and lingard we have more then enough fire power. With Sanchez here, it's not the end of the world dropping pogba anymore. He has to improve and mature as a player and sometimes that involves being dropped. Agree with it, if it's true.

With Sanchez in, it has to mean 3-5-2 now surely? Or if not, when does Lukaku's place come under threat?

    --------- Dave ---------

Jose needs to stop letting his "fury" dominate his thinking and let the players regain confidence.
No need for hyper childish benching.

Paul Pogba had a unbeaten record of 36 games until the horror show at Spurs. To drop him would be an extreme knee jerk when our other midfield options aren't close in quality.

Fair enough. The whole team was bad but if Mourinho thinks we'll do better without Pogba that's fine. After all he's the one getting paid to make those decisions not me. We'll see how it works out today. If we don't win then he'll have some explaining to do.

What's this talk of Pogba being dropped? Just baseless speculation?

The tottenham match has just knocked out the interest for this season almost completely. I am just gonna watch United out of habbit now.

Haven’t heard a decent bit of Fellaini bashing in months. Makes me all misty eyed and sentimental. Clear out the deadwood. Fire up the torches!

    12:57KEY EVENT
    Leaked Manchester United XI
A United XI has leaked ahead of kick-off and includes McTominay in for Pogba. It is worth reiterating that the leaked XIs almost always include a deliberate error or deliberate errors as part of Mourinho’s annual mole hunt. He was furious about the attack getting leaked for the City game, and full XIs have been scarce since, but one is doing the rounds again today.

The leaked XI is: De Gea, Valencia, Smalling, Rojo, Shaw, Matic, McTominay, Mata, Sanchez, Lingard, Lukaku. It remains to be seen if it’s the confirmed XI.

Hope he gets it right after the disappointment of the 50th anniversary game. This is definitely the games to put on a great performance.
I don't think he'll be benching Pogba. I HIGHLY doubt it.

On the other hand, Martial will definitely not start!

What a lovely way to spend your saturday. Enjoy yourself and hopefully have a nice, convincing win.

Didnt he drop Robben, Lampard and a few other starters at Chelsea once after a bad performance? I vaguely remember sky saying he was playing with 4 CDM’s or something.

That can't be the lineup today. If that's true I'll be worried about a match that should be easy enough.

There's always rumors. We had the same with Zlatan. Oh he's signed for that mls team. Rumors mean nothing.

Its not so much doing better in one game. We have more then enough quality to beat huddersfield without Pogba. It's about sending a message to him and the others though. Don't perform, don't work hard, don't follow instructions, and you won't play. Simple as that. Same thing Sir Alex did time and time again when he wasn't happy with someone. Doesn't matter if they're better then others, he would drop them for a game or two until they worked their way back in.

He should direct some anger at himself as well.
Agreed, blaming the team is fine to an extent if he's willing to take some of the heat himself. Knee-jerk team changes won't win him any fans, even less if he drops points because of said changes.

In a perfect Roy of the Rogers world, they should all be up for this match, to get revenge for the defeat earlier in the season, but more importantly, as a proper response to the fallout from the shitstorm that was Wednesday night.
    But.....:(

    Have a good time.

    Thanks!
It's the present i gave my sister for her 30th birthday. She seems happy so far.
We're sitting next to Stretford end, amazing view.
I'll wave to you guys, just look for me on the TV

The only reason to drop pobga is if his attitude has been poor in training since Wednesday. If the manager says do something or play in a certain position you do it, no matter where your strengths are! Me personally he should start every game hes fit and available as we look a much better team with him.

In truth, he didn't blame neither himself nor the team, more circumstances, in his statements after the game. Although, dropping Pogba would be such a statement.

Enjoy mate. I attended the VIP section years back when we played Reading in the league.

Met Sir Bobby afterwards. A great day.
