Apparently Pogba didn't follow the coaching instructions at Spurs which ultimately left Matic totally exposed and the defense stretched. I can see why Mourinho dropped him. Ferguson did the same sometimes.

He is ill, so do some research, before ranting away, and making yourself look stupid.

That’s a bit fecking harsh. Hardly ranting at all. Don’t be so aggressive, we are all on the same side here.

An uninspiring lineup but hopefully one that gets the job done. Big day for McTominay... Great performance and he's a star, not a great performance and he's the new Fletcher, manager's son.

Well done Jose, show those primadonas who is the boss. Play f*** football or sit on the bench. What is wrong with team? Spoiled brats on Caf. I bet lots of you want us to lose the game, so you can bitch and moan and write "sack Mourinho" kinda crap. Call youself fans?

    My thoughts exactly.

Some people will never be happy no matter what happens, they will always find something to complain about.

    Proper Fergie line-up this one.
    Jones ill
    Shaw gets another chance.
McTominay's time to shine. Go on lad!
Pogba to come on for Mata andplay that 3 in mid soon.

Come the feck on United. Let's score early here and have an unstressful afternoon, si vous fecking plais.

Isn't it coming up to the time before kick-off where someone retorts angrily to someone else's comment on the line up, and then, to add emphasis, finish paragraph, leave a space and add...

    Get a grip.

I'm expecting a high tempo to our passing today. This could be an entertaining game.

Pogba and Martial are both great players, but don't half hold onto the ball a little bit too long. Sanchez and McTominay must be amongst the better hot potato players in training.

That’s a bit fecking harsh. Hardly ranting at all. Don’t be so aggressive, we are all on the same side here.

It wasn't that hard to work out why Jones was not in the starting line-up, yet instead we got a post filled with inaccuracies, just to seemingly have a go or pop at José.

Bloody heck so many people need to take a chill pill, why not sit back and judge things after the match, rather than ranting and raving before it has kicked off?
This. Pogba's been bought to play football and he needs to react positively to this. Why can’t he be benched for a game? He needs to grow up. Let's enjoy the game.

Deary me, talk about lacking belief in the team!

We have more than enough creativity in the side, and if we do or should need some more then that is what the bench is for.

So much of on overreaction yet again.

I don’t lack belief in the team. I lack belief in the managers tactics. Huddersfield will be tough to break down regardless of what you think.

Hopefully I’m wrong, but we’ve seen it many times this season where we just look so distinctly average in attack despite the quality of the players available.

Just feel Mourinho wouldn't have dropped Pogba if he hadn't signed the contract extension. He's just telling who's boss. Hope it doesn't backfire.

It wasn't that hard to work out why Jones was not in the starting line-up, yet instead we got a post filled with inaccuracies, just to seemingly have a go or pop at José.

Whatever man, let’s just move the feck on.

Good pogba was dropped. He was fecking shite.

I dont get what the fecking problem is.. Just Pogba not stating? Is that fecking it?

Its one player. We are against Huddesfield at home. Grow a fecking pair.

Redcafe directs a lot of criticism to pogba for his role in the spurs game disaster.

Jose gets angry that pogba wasn't following instructions.

Jose Benches pogba against championship fodder.

Redcafe blames jose for pogba benching.

    :lol::lol::rolleyes::rolleyes:
This exactly. Pogba got what he deserves.

    I think you’re overreacting.

It's the modern way of 'supporting' it would seem. You decide how good the team is based purely on the most recent result.

We lost away to a very good team who got off to the perfect start. In addition too many players were below par. In the old days this was called a bad day at the office. These days it's basically proof that the manager should be fired and all the players need to be sold immediately.

Mourinho’s approach is rigid and overrides any meaningful meritocracy in the squad.

    For eg.

Martial is productive in a significant number of games and is dropped subsequently after one average/poor game.

Lukaku is unproductive in a string of games and is retained game after game due to the fact that Mourinho insists on a target man.

For the sake of tactical necessity, merit and performance levels are overlooked.

I'd put a tenner on him not bringing him on either. He will probably bring Carrick on to again reinforce whatever statement he's trying to make.

It just seems petty. Have a damn conversation with him or something. This is potentially damaging.

Haven't you heard? If Jose benches 2 players he is now "self-destructing". This is the wisdom of the match day thread. :wenger::lol::wenger::rolleyes:

José's telling Pogba, “I know my selection and system was shit against Spurs, but I cannot let you express dissent publicly.”

Apparently Pogba didn't follow the coaching instructions at Spurs which ultimately left Matic totally exposed and the defense stretched. I can see why Mourinho dropped him. Ferguson did the same sometimes.
Matic was even worse. Not quite sure what he's done in the last 4/5 games to justify his selection in the team today. He's the one who needed to be taken out of the firing line. Poor against Stoke, poor against Burnley and poor against Spurs.

Hopefully I’m wrong, but we’ve seen it many times this season where we just look so distinctly average in attack despite the quality of the players available.

Every team is hard to break down, each team is packed full of good defensive players these days, so that is nothing really new.

So in that case, just sit back and enjoy the match, I really don't see how being negative, or having negative thoughts on the team helps in any way whatsoever.

The only way to work out if the team picked was good enough or not, is by seeing what happens when the full time whistle is blown.

Yah, cause Jose was kicking the ball.:wenger:
So you have a Matic who it is rumoured is carrying an injury and play him with only Pogba, so leave him exposed. Yes that was Jose's fault. Also as Jones is ill, it might be he was coming down with something then.

Wish some of you lot would just feck off the Caf.

It's like dealing with the biggest bunch of losers in the world. Phil Thompson is actually talking more sense than alot of you on Soccer Saturday. Let that sink in.

Yeah, Pogba needs a bit of grounding. Too much of the poser self-love shit, and not enough dedication to the cause. Someone needs to tell him that only Ronaldo can get away with that much narcissism.

I hope we win 5-0 and McTominay is MOTM just to shut the whining babies up.

Jose is in charge. He's paid to make these calls.
