Just feel Mourinho wouldn't have dropped Pogba if he hadn't signed the contract extension. He's just telling who's boss. Hope it doesn't backfire.

Personally I think that the Glazers are the bosses, but that could just be me reading things wrongly.

Redcafe directs a lot of criticism to pogba for his role in the spurs game disaster.

Jose gets angry that pogba wasn't following instructions.

Jose Benches pogba against championship fodder.

Redcafe blames jose for pogba benching.

    :lol::lol::rolleyes::rolleyes:

    The cycle continues #freePogba/Martial...

Lets hope this line up smashes Huddersfield, then lets see some egg on faces.

He just happened to be the only person in the world who couldn't see Matic-Pogba being over-ran in midfield.
Why are you making excuses for Pogba? he isnt a fecking child.
I know it doesnt suit his game, but if he cant play with discipline when we need him to, he needs to sit on the bench, watch McTominay and take notes.

So you have a Matic who it is rumoured is carrying an injury and play him with only Pogba, so leave him exposed. Yes that was Jose's fault. Also as Jones is ill, it might be he was coming down with something then.
    Good point.

Looks like Mourinho throwing a strop.

Team should still be enough to win but why not try to get players used to playing with each other.

Anyone who got 11/11 has clearly got inside information

Just look at what you have written, behave!

José throwing a strop, deary me, talk about going ott.

Mourinho’s approach is rigid and overrides any meaningful meritocracy in the squad.

    For eg.

Martial is productive in a significant number of games and is dropped subsequently after one average/poor game.

Lukaku is unproductive in a string of games and is retained game after game due to the fact that Mourinho insists on a target man.

For the sake of tactical necessity, merit and performance levels are overlooked.

Lukaku is a better striker than Martial. We have a top player in Sanchez that can play LW. Enjoy the game.

Apparently Pogba didn't follow the coaching instructions at Spurs which ultimately left Matic totally exposed and the defense stretched. I can see why Mourinho dropped him. Ferguson did the same sometimes.
    Interesting.

If that's true then I'm happy he's been dropped. No-ones bigger than the club, and everyone follows the managers plan.

Wouldnt it have made a lot more sense to play Pogba further forward and Lingard in Mata's place? If you're going to tell me that Mata is going to have more effect on the game than Pogba would have I'll be very surprised.

Wish some of you lot would just feck off the Caf.

It's like dealing with the biggest bunch of losers in the world. Phil Thompson is actually talking more sense than alot of you on Soccer Saturday. Let that sink in.
Well said , back to Phil Thompson .

Its' one game. Sometimes players need to be disciplined, Pogba will be back for the next game. Bit harsh on Martial though.

Can some kind brother red message me a good stream please , I want to go fishing!!
    Thanks in advance

    According to?

Its weird that a player doesnt "follow the coaches instructions" for 63 minutes before the coach takes him off.

José's telling Pogba, “I know my selection and system was shit against Spurs, but I cannot let you express dissent publicly.”
I looked at the exchange a lot of times, and from amateur lipreading, and gestures, Pogba was never expressing dissent publicly. He was going 'how? How?' 'Jose was saying cover the back four. Support Matic, do a job, etc etc.' Paul is just undisciplined, he doesn't think in formations, never has, probably never will.

My worry is who is going to pass the ball forward today? Mctominay sideways and backwards Mata sideways and backwards

And people still think loaning A.Pereira was a good decision.
I think mostly people realize A.P. Wanted to go and get MORE game time then he would have gotten had he stayed. I suppose having him here not even dressing for many games, let alone getting much playing time would have made him happy.

Some of the hope we'll play bad today. Imagine that.

It beggars belief. I'm hoping they are just young and foolish like we all were once upon a time.

I refuse to believe that adult united fans would actually want us to play badly and/or lose. :wenger:

I really like Martial, really do.

But there just isn't space for Martial AND Sanchez on the left, so either Sanchez plays behind Lukaku and Lingard doesn't play, or Sanchez plays on the left and Martial doesn't play.

In the big scheme of things, I can see Martial leaving in the summer because we'll get more cash for him than we ever would for Lingard, and then use the cash for the right winger we've needed for the past three years.

Or worse, like this dickhead here:

If he's a United fan, I'd like to know the thought process going into such brainless tweets.

He’s a fan of Martial before he is a fan of Manchester United.

    There is none.

    He's a twat.

I reckon 2-0 today. Sanchez and Lukaku. McTominay to get an assist.

Don't be silly, he selects the formation and tactics, both of which he got very wrong.
You really believe Jose instructed his players to go out there and play half throttle against Spurs. Okay. Fair enough. You’re entitled to that opinion. I’ll leave it there and enjoy today’s match where Jose will most likely be at fault again for players not performing to their abilities.

That is not what I am saying. I am saying he has been dropped and he deserves it.

He had a job to do against Spurs. He was terrible. He isnt starting the next game.
    He shouldnt be undroppable.

He is a this best when he has freedom.. sure, but we had Alexis to do the attacking he normally does against Spurs. He had a job and he couldnt do it. If he wants to be a "luxury player" and wants other people to do his dirty work, the he shouldnt expect to be a starter in every game.

The whinging, pearl clutchers are out in force again.

WON'T SOMEBODY PLEASE THINK OF MARTIAL AND POGBA!!!!:lol::rolleyes:

Don’t mind Pogba being dropped as I think he needs to learn his place isn’t guaranteed, something Lukaku needs to experience.

However, dropping Martial yet again after one bad performance is ridiculous, especiallly after he was moved out of position to accommodate Sanchez, who himself was out of position anyway.

I defended Mourinho for ages but quite frankly have had enough of him some time ago. His tactics against big teams are pathetic to say the least, and the guy is so miserable it’s depressing to watch this guy lead the team.

He doesn’t seem to be able to get team morale going and takes his failures out on the players (who admittedly are not without fault).
