    Can you imagine the babies when we had Cleverley and Anderson in midfield?

    freaking tired of childish behavior of the pitch. It's like their lives are more lived on internet, than on the pitch. I do miss good old days when men were playing, not grown up children, who spend more time practising stupid handshakes and silly celebrations, and checking how many followers they have in twitter and insta, then practising football. Maybe I'm just old.
    and Ronaldo wasn't as neary narcisstic at United as he did become when he become one man team at Real. I think.
     
    People wanting us to lose isnt the first time, just back then CAF majority were vs LvG, now its other way around so there is more outrage.

    No, everyone knows Pogba in a midfield 2 leaves us wide open, yet he selected it when he had 2 CM's on the bench, then we see Eriksen and Dele thrive in the space that was there due to him not selecting the correct formation to give us a foothold in the game, that's on him.

    I thought the manager said himself Sánchez played all 4 positions in attack. Now he has to play him on the left and drop Martial who's on form?

    I dont think we have the quality to drop our best players everytime they come up short. Neither do I think scapegoating 1 player when it was a team/setup problem is very helpful.

    I could understand if we tried him in another position or formation if Mourinho felt he can't trust him in a 2 man midfield right now. But if today goes wrong it'll be a double whammy. Not looking great for 2nd and not using our best players...

    Yeah we should sack the manager because he has dropped Pogba and we are only 2nd in the table.
     
    We still are not playing with a three in midfield, and without Pogba we will have problems bringing the ball forward, especially if Matic is carrying an injury as rumoured.

    Think it will be an ugly game IMO.

    Not starting some one for one game, is it really "dropping" some one. I mean feck Martial has not been an every week starter at all this season.

    Pogba not starting in one game.

    Are these decisions really the drama all the drama some make then out to be? Or are some people just too quick to cry?
     
    Is there somewhere I can always find who is showing the game in the UK or Europe? The ops here are hit and miss with that.

    We don't really have the quality to be playing a 3 man midfield at the moment efficiently.

    It is a man-management issue. As the Boss you have to decide who to bench and who to play. It is always the big picture and player reaction that matters for the manager and the club. When you are the Boss you do decide who needs a kick up their backside and who needs embracing.
     
    The caf is negative and whingy. This is always means a a brilliant United performance.

    Better target man, yes. Better footballer, no. Lukaku looks better up front because of the way we play. If our game was more technical in nature, more fluid and transitional then Martial would look a million bucks better.

    That midfield isn't convincing to me but let's see how it goes. Huddersfield in terrible form, so it should be enough. Rojo in the lineup :)

    Tough game, Huddersfield backs to the wall then Rashford/martial/pogba come on as subs and see out a comfortable win.

    That is the thing. We are playing Huddersfield. If we can rotate and leave out a player who couldnt be a team player then it would set a worse precedent.

    If it doesnt work, we can talk about it then. Jose has made a call. Its a brave one. I hope it works out.

    Pogba cant believe he can do whatever he wants and continue to start games. He is wonderful.. But if he has been asked to do a job, he needs to stop being a fecking child and work for the team.

    Lingard is in better form than Martial over past 4-6 weeks.

    He didn't have a good game but he needs a 3-man midfield .... if he doesn't have defensive discipline, instead of forcing him to do something he's not good at, play a system that suits or don't play him.

    Would we ask Lukaku to play wide or Matic as a 10? If we did and they didn't have good games, would you still say "tough, they're not a child, get on with it"? Surely not, we'd say why is Jose playing people in a position/system that doesn't play to their best abilities?

    If anything, it's worse with Pogba as he's one of our few class players (and even less outfield).
     
    Fairly drastic stuff. I am quite concerned about our lack of creativity today from midfield especially. I don't really disagree with anyone who was dropped, with the exception of Martial. A lot of them needed a wake up call, though I fear we may have weakened ourselves too much for this game.
     
    I have no problems with Jose dropping Pogba but he need to do the same with Lukaku as well. He just isnt consistent with this "kicking up ass" thing

    Nah,we should steam roll these, no matter who we played. I do wish we would just play 4 3 3 and let the players get used to it though, it suits the players we have far more than 4 2 3 1

    If he cant function without a 3 man midfield, then he wont start all games. He needs to accept it.
