So Jones has been completely dropped from the squad then? That’s bananas. One shite performance and he doesn’t even make the bench?

There's a bad cold going around the squad at the moment. Jones out of the squad and a few drop to the bench.

    No big deal .

Dropping Pogba, something I will never agree with. I’d sooner see Mourinho evicted from the Lowry and dumped on the first train to Euston than upset our Poggers.
Think I agree. Mourinho is rubbing me the wrong way atm.

If this is how Jose is dealing with Pogba not being a MC for a midfield 2 then it's a bit daft. Also not delighted to see Martial's position on the left sacrificed to accommodate Sanchez there.
Everybody know he needs to be in a three, the putting him in a two man midfield is down to Jose. He might have got away with it today, not away at Spurs.

He is ill, so do some research, before ranting away, and making yourself look stupid.

Morinho self-destruction yet again. Just like at Chelsea twice and Madrid. Absolute joke of a formation and lineup.

I really do not get the overreaction by people here, it is a team put out that should be too good for Huddersfield, so why the moaning for moaning sake?

Just back the team that is put out there, it really isn't that hard to do, or too much to ask is it?!!

They will be difficult to break down mate. Without Pogba we have nobody that can create from midfield. I hope to God I’m wrong, but I can see us struggling.

    You forgot the white text.

Kudos on jerking your knee so much, you've smacked yourself in the face.

Bloody heck so many people need to take a chill pill, why not sit back and judge things after the match, rather than ranting and raving before it has kicked off?

Redcafe directs a lot of criticism to pogba for his role in the spurs game disaster.

Jose gets angry that pogba wasn't following instructions.

Jose Benches pogba against championship fodder.

Redcafe blames jose for pogba benching.

    :lol::lol::rolleyes::rolleyes:

Well done Jose, show those primadonas who is the boss. Play f*** football or sit on the bench. What is wrong with team? Spoiled brats on Caf. I bet lots of you want us to lose the game, so you can bitch and moan and write "sack Mourinho" kinda crap. Call youself fans?

Would be funny if this was a 4-3-3, just not with Pogba.

Anyhow, curious to see how we react to Huddersfield's 3 at the back.

And its terribly contagious. At this rate Jose and Joey Barton lookalike assistant fella will be togging out next week.
It is. I had the flu for the first time in my grown up life at christmas. Three whole days too.

Don’t agree with dropping Pogba. We’ll lack the cohesion between defence and attack without him.

And whilst he was very shit against Spurs, is anyone surprised now that he doesn’t do anything in big games when in a 2 man midfield?! Jose deserves a lot of blame for persisting with that formation & Pogba when the facts show it doesn’t work.

Holy shit Smalling starts? I scrolled the line-up assuming he had been catapulted into the sun. Non league standard.

I don't think you can pin all the blame on Mourinho. The defense shit their pants in the first 10 seconds and the ball ricocheted off Smallings shin and heel to fall perfectly in place for Erikson to slot it home and Jones somehow managed to put the ball in the back of the net from a routine cross clearance. What exactly was Mourinho to do about those goals? That's entirely down to individual player errors.

Pogba's performance drew criticism from everyone on here and yet Mourinho dropping him to give him a bit of a wake up call is shifting the blame?

We couldn't get a foothold in the game because he played that 4-2-3-1 crap yet again, asking Pogba to play a role he's not good at and putting us in a 2 vs 3 situation in midfield, and he keeps picking Young over Shaw for "experience" but as an actual LB Shaw has more experience and is certainly better defensively. The first goal was freakish, but the second occurs because we were leaving so much space for Eriksen and Dele because he didn't select a 3rd CM.

I brought Jones in last week.. own goal and now dropped. Fantastic stuff, sums up my fantasy premier league career so far.

Everybody know he needs to be in a three, the putting him in a two man midfield is down to Jose. He might have got away with it today, not away at Spurs.

I see it as a little bit petulant. Buys a world class midfielder playmaker who he tries to shoehorn into a midfield two. Drops him for a youngster. What is Pogba supposed to do with that? Why change dramatically when he's already one of the best around in doing what he does?

Morinho self-destruction yet again. Just like at Chelsea twice and Madrid. Absolute joke of a formation and lineup.

Jose benching players for shit performances against top 4 rivals now equals "self-destruction"

Redcafe match-day thread has reached peak peal-clutching.:lol:

Err...a lot of people knew Mourinho's formation and tactics were wrong on Wednesday, which he did. I think we all knew from along time that a 2 man midfield of matic n pogba didn't work.

Deary me, talk about lacking belief in the team!

We have more than enough creativity in the side, and if we do or should need some more then that is what the bench is for.

So much of on overreaction yet again.
