The Caf was happy enough when we signed Alexis, what were y’all expecting - our £500k a week new signing to work his way into the team. Lol get real.
No we were expecting him to play on the right. You know, the weakest position on the pitch, that ring any bells?

Benching our two best attavking players after one bad game? This is just crazy thing to do.

While I have no problem with Pogba being dropped after a weaker game, dropping Martial is harsh, he was shifted to the right to accomodate Alexis, not his fault he's a left winger

All well and good dropping two of our best players this season... but maybe Jose should take a look at himself. Couldn’t possibly be his tactical approach that our record against the top teams is fecking shite.

I swear Martial is judged on a different criteria to anyone in this team. He's been our best player this last month and 1 bad result is enough to drop him. The likes of Lingard, Mata aren't going to scare Huddersfield like Martial would've done. I actually think this will be a draw now.

The whinging, pearl clutchers are out in force again.

WON'T SOMEBODY PLEASE THINK OF MARTIAL AND POGBA!!!!:lol::rolleyes:

It's not like Poga has had 2-3 games playing badly, it was just once with a formation that didn't suit him.

He really doesn't need a good kick up the arse, we use to that way too quickly
Actually it's not just once. There have been many times this season where Pogba has gone missing defensively. We have all picked it up, commentators have mentioned it as well. It seems like Pogba just has not learnt from all of those times with the Spurs game being the final straw. The message is clear to Pogba and to the entire team - I don't care how big your reputation is, put in a stinker and you can have a seat on the bench.

Can somebody who thinks all of our players played poorly against Spurs please tell me what de Gea did wrong in that particular match?

Are you for real? He was playing at left wing in the second half. Mourinho played him at his favored position and his performance level dropped.

Most of the player's performance level dropped in the second half. A lot of them completely gave up but have been kept in the team today.

Ignoring my point doesn't refute it btw. Martial has proven himself an excellent left winger for us and was our most in form attacker going into the game. Mourinho shifted him to a position he has literally never played well and it has backfired horribly on us.

Lingard went about 20 games without scoring or assisting last season and kept his place. Martial is definitely treated differently to anyone else in the team.

Pogba is still our best player ffs.

McTominay and Matic in the centre. Big game for the young lad. Needs to put in a solid performance.

Resting Pogba is a good decision imo. Still trying to figure out the best way to fit all pieces together (post Sanchez) so all combinations are best tried. Also CL and cups coming up and with the league done, we all know Jose wants to win something.

Just beat these and move on.

Pogba dropped? Welp, there goes any kind of creativity from the midfield. Does need a rest though.

    Hoping McTominay steps up!

 fecking Mourinho, you don't break the world transfer record for a player and then hang him out to dry. We looked so poor without Pogba in the team it's going to place all the responsibility to on Sanchez to create chances.

Not lose. But dropping our two best players is terrible management. How about as a manager you work out a way to get the best out of them? Seems more rational.

If we win today, as we really should do, how is it terrible management?

Fergie used to drop our best players. It's the team as a whole you should support, not individual players. No need for comments hoping the team plays badly just so the manager is proven wrong on individual players.

Love Pogba but even his appearance against Stoke was very lazy. They kept on finding space behind our midfield and kept on creating chances. Definetely merited a dropping. Martial not so much but his second half performance was pathetic.
The Pogba who plays in the rightcenter of a midfield two deserves to be dropped. But the one who plays on the leftcenter of a midfield three is by far our best player.

Jose is soo frustrating. The one game MArtial plays upfront he scores and plays well. Lukaku has been poor for months now and was awful on Wednesday but he still starts upfront?

Yeah poor Martial, has been starting games week in week out. But his manager hates him

Conceded to Phil Jones, we should ship him to league two for that ;)

JoMou hasn't done much wrong here.

Pogba needed a reality check and Mata is a better option than Martial in order to make the attacking play less dysfunctional. Lingard deserves to be the first name on the team sheet at the moment.

Herrera is a busted flush and I'm glad JoMou went with McTominay instead.

Martial didn't cost Mourinho £75m though.

Childish from Mourinho, try actually playing players to their strengths instead of asking them to do things they aren't suited to. McTominay over Herrera with the latter not even in the squad is just ridiculous.
Or sick or injured or a disciplinary issue.

So much outrage where there simply is no cause whatsoever for any of it.

    Just people shouting needlessly.

For the umpteen time,Martial did not play exclusively on the left in the first half again Spurs.
The three behind Lukaku kept rotating.

    It's one game..
    One game.

Strange lineup. I know Pogba had a poor game last night out, but he is still our most creative MF. Maybe giving him a rest. Should play Martial or Rashford on the right instead of Mata IMO.

He's a much better player than McTominay (who is painfully average).

How can you put down a young player starting this match of all matches?
One so close to the Munich disaster memorial, this club should always be about giving young players a chance.

Yeah poor Martial, has been starting games week in week out. But his manager hates him
Martial doesn't have the same leeway that our other attackers have. You can't deny that mate. Rashford went ages without scoring last season and Mourinho kept faith in him. Martial has scored in his 3 of the last 4 games and he isn't allowed to build any momentum in this team. It's absolutely ridiculous. Scandalous.

How many times is the camera going to show Pogba on the bench looking disgruntled today? Body Language analysts are going to be queuing up to say their piece.

Jamie Redknapp is already punching in his first draft of "Pogba Needs to GET OUT or his international career is DOOMED FOREVER!"

We'll twat this lot and that annoying little Kloppelganger.
