Dont understand the logic of playing the likes of Bailly, Pogba and Zlatan. This is one of the few matches where we could play some of the fringe players and still get a win. Need to rest players with internationals coming up, and then liverpool and chelsea.

Zlatan isn't an issue because he doesn't have internationals, so he will have two weeks rest.

Zaltan does not need a rest he has no internationals to play.
I fully agree with him playing a strong team .

And Carrick clearly adds something to the team, at least in some games. Unless this Ukrainian side is very dominant physically, couldn't Carrick play instead of Carrick? I think he would get along Pogba fine.

I think the manager wants to keep momentum as well. The team needs to gel asap.

It's easy to look down on the EL but outside of the league, this is the biggest prize potentially available to us at the moment. And it will get sexier as we go along.
