Me too. As others have said, Ole stated that he and Garner will get their chance in Sept/Oct. Its tough for young players because they have to impress with limited chances, but I trust when they do get their chance they'll step up.Ole playing the same old shite I see.

Everyone going on about Gomes not being on the bench but I’m sure that’s because he’s not done enough in training to warrant a place in the line up or on the bench. You all need to relax about the lad. If Ole thinks he’s not ready then he’s not ready and I’m happy with that.Love the new founded energy from our team. Many were happy with James because it appeared as though we had a young, albeit very raw player with a huge upside in speed ready to become an impact player from the bench. What we’re now understanding is that a club fighting for Champions League places has a RW depth that consists of James, Greenwood and Pereira.
All season, keep in mind.
This isn’t some temporary, “but he’s raw, he needs time.”
He’s going to be starting most games. A raw player starting most games isn’t going to help him. Sink or swim in a top four fight is a ridiculous risk at this level.How is this not clear to people here?

Nothing has happened in 2 weeks to change things. No one has done terribly to be dropped .. Gomes probably hasnt had the chance to stake a claim for a place in the 18.

I don't want to see Lingard in the starting lineup either, but the fact is his work rate and ability to perform the high-press better than the alternatives (Mata and Periera) makes him an automatic starter, I guess. Same. 10/11 with Lingard dropped. Oh do we have a lot to learn!Surprised to see exactly the same lineup and bench as the previous game. Not that we played badly in that bad, just thought we'd see minor changes as James didn't quite work out in that game from the start. Perhaps he'll be better suited to this game.
